Is there bounce in your step? Are you feeling buoyancy and joy in whatever you’re doing?
If not, here are some ideas on how to find joy in what you do and how to walk with inspiration along the way.
This video was filmed in Zion National Park, in Utah, while hiking there in October of 2020.
Thanks Evan – appreciated as many steps today leafleting for local election in my town!
Thanks Evan for this uplifting vlog.
I have been that little one, pouting along the way, so I loved how you pointed out the little one on the trail had his father right behind him, lovingly encouraging the little one back into getting back in step mentally.
It’s so humbling, realizing no matter what our perspective, our Shepherd is with us every step.
& how we can break through bleak thinking & wake to our innate nature by simply Being who we are: loving, grateful,..
‘Gratitude…what a word’:

Angie,
A long time ago dear friend of mine, a C. S. Practitioner told me about a clenched fist holding money. No one could receive it, but at the same time no one could add into it either.
She charged a man his last dollar which he saved for a buss ride home. Thus he had to walk. Hitch hiking provided him a ride, a new friend and a job!
Great faith she had to challenge mortal mind, and gained the victory.
Wonderful relative article this morning. Thank you VM.
“Love inspires and leads the way”…
A dear teacher friend had an uninspired student in their kindergarten class. The child would even strike out at the teacher who would catch their fist and kiss it saying “I love you and love having you in my class room.”
It took weeks of this constant care until the student responded with a hug and soon became the teacher’s best helper in the class.
Love always inspires and wins the day..
Thank you for recognizing Love is the way. I too have met children’s resistance to learning by seeing the goodness in them and meeting and parting with love.
That’s beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much Evan for such an uplifting blog! I love to turn to my Spiritual sense for guidance, for inspiration. God, good, guides, guards and governs us. All we have to do is listen.
What helps me keep walking along is being grateful for every step taken. Every step is to glorify God. Each step is advancement, doing good things.
Walking is getting somewhere, however climbing is attaining spiritual heights. Sometimes up two steps, then sliding back a step, but always getting higher. That comes with consecration. The daily lesson sermon studied by devote Christian Scientists provides for each of us advancing steps. All together in the same Mind and thought process is powerful for healing false beliefs and enriching our daily experience. We have that structure thanks to our dear leader, Mary Baker Eddy.
And now we have this wonderful forum led by Evan who inspires each of us each day with buoyancy and uplifted ideas. Thank you, everyone for their tireless sharing.
Thank you!!!
What a beautiful park! Being out in nature is just wonderful – surrounded by all the beauty that God is – so easy to be inspired! It does feel like heaven all around us!
I could not help but think of the Beatitudes when thinking of this little boy!
“Blessed are the poor in spirit,
For theirs is the kingdom of heaven.“
Matthew 5:3
Wow! When he wakes up to this he is going to be one happy kid!
Thank you for sharing your adventures surrounded by God’s beauty and the spiritual insights that come to you when you are out hiking!
Angie – thank you for that wonderful article on gratitude – that is exactly what is needed! Gratitude opens the door to a wonderful world of fullness!
Thanks for the important reminder that our joy and inspiration for each day comes not from the material situations and conditions that may seem so real and important in determining our mood, but from that constant Source of our being, Loving father-mother God. Buoyancy and bliss of Being to all today!
As sings the mountain stream
Past rock and verdure wild
So let me sing my way to Thee
Thy pure and happy child
O boundless source of might
My praise must e’er increase
For Love is Life eternally
Whose blessings never cease
I sing my way today
My heart is joyous, free
For what is Thine is ever mine
I find myself in Thee.

Hi Evan, thanks so much for SpiritView and your wonderfully refreshing Vlog. I’d love to walk with you in such a beautiful landscape as the canyons in Utah! A friend from my church was there and showed me lots of fotos. How Impressing is God’s world !
Thank you for lifting our thoughts up to a spiritual stand! I had to pray for something today and I was reading the lesson. My thoughts were lead to do some churchwork and when I later in the evening sat in our church listening to God’s message during our testimony meeting I felt much better and I am greatful for healing and the inspired day God gave me so graciously!♡
Love this message Evan! Even as an adult I have to watch I’m not lagging behind in my thinking , at times… so …as
‘The only intelligence or substance of a thought, a seed or a flower is God, ..the Creator of it.’ S&H pg508. I am encouraged to keep looking for eternal inspiration everywhere❣️
In the U.S. today (May 6) is the official National Day of Prayer. I just discovered it’s been celebrated here on the first Thursday in May since 1952 when it was proclaimed by then-President Harry Truman. Each year the current President re-signs the proclamation. For more info see these two links

Happy Day of Prayer to all! There should be (maybe there is?) an International or Universal day of prayer. Every day and every moment is the right time to pray. The Bible says to pray without ceasing. “Rejoice evermore, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks: for this is the will of God…” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
(I put this comment under May 5, as I do not see a Spiritview post for May 6)
