Would you like to feel more of God’s presence? How does one find God’s presence?

In this vlog, I share some ideas that can help you find and know more of the divine presence in your life.

I filmed this video while traveling the Alaska highway last September.

  1. Thank you very much for your today’s utmost lovely Vlog, dear Evan!
Yes, I am sure that it is an honest Christian Scientist’s highest longing, to come close to God, Love; in fact the Bible and Science and Health by MBEDDY assure us, that man (we) is at one with God. For me this assurance is very comforting! Man ìs as close to God as a sunbeam to the sun. Man ìs the very expression of his Creator, our divine Father-Mother God – wonderfully close to God, and we can feel this loving, healing nearness to God through prayer and listening to God’s healing thoughts. For my part it’s a deep desire.
Am very grateful that we learn these truths in ChristIan Science and to apply it.
Thank you Evan for helping us to a better understanding of God’s Love and nearness with ever SpiritView!

    1. could anybody please explain me what the thing is, what Evan tells that he and Kathy were seeking in the earth? I not even know, how that thing is spelled .Thanks a lot for clarification, dear SpiritView friends! 🙂

      1. Basically an agate is a stone formed mostly out of silicon that can have many different colors throughout the rock. I am certainly not a rock expert so you can look it up on the internet to get a better understanding of it.

        1. .. thank you Josef. Your explanation alone is clear and interesting. However will also google in the Internet, thanks a lot!

  2. I woke up this morning with the thought: “The kingdom of heaven is at hand.”
(Christ Jesus’ words, as you know.)

Whoa! Here? In this house? “Before” my feet.? “Within” me?

Thought-provoking, as always. And, I have something to do, to fully realize these
    amazing facts!

But, as with all this wonderful SpiritViewFamily, I am, we are, open and willing and working toward a full realization of these facts….demonstrating it, step by step.
And Evan, once again, thank you for your unselfish sharing to help us on our way.
And thank you for using symbol/analogies to illustrate your words.

    ONward!

  3. Dear Uta,

An “agate” is a type of rock, quartz, actually. A sample is pictured beneath the title, Finding God’s Presence.

We cannot help but find and feel God’s presence. As the Bible in this week’s lesson says, “For in him we live, and move, and have our being. Acts 28.

Being still mentally always helps the process.

  4. BEAUTIFUL, TAKING AN AGATE, POLISHING IT ON A LAPIDARY WHEEL, THEN UNCOVERING SECRET BEAUTY FOUND WITHIN THE RAW UNCUT, UNPOLISHED AGATE, HAS BEEN ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE DISCOVERIES FROM CAMP, YEARS AND YEARS AGO. GOOD TOPIC, FINDING AGATES WHILE FINDING GOD.

  5. Thank you Evan! Love your blogs. I have been on quest recently to know and feel God’s presence better. I have been studying Christian Science for many years but felt a need to renew that wonderful feeling of being close to God, of feeling my inseparability from Him. And as you suggested I am gaining again that feeling through re-reading Science and Health and studying the Bible more thoroughly using the concordances. These Bible verses from Psalm 139:7-10 is a gem: “Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the utter-most parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.” There isn’t anywhere we can go that God isn’t with us. So reassuring. These citations from Science and Health have been helpful too: “God, the divine Principle of man, and man in God’s likeness are inseparable, harmonious, and eternal. God and man are not the same, but in the order of divine Science, God and man coexist and are eternal. God is the parent Mind, and man is God’s spiritual offspring.” pg 336:25-26, 28-31
Dear Peter, keep searching the Scriptures and Science and Health…they will lead you to knowing God better and feeling His presence. Godspeed!
