Be you! Love you. Value your uniqueness. Honor your individuality. Accept what makes you special.
In a conformist society, it can be tough to express individuality and not suffer negative consequences.
Corporations have generalized standards and unwritten behavioral policies that are enforced. Families have ideals and expectations for each family member. Parents outline for their children. Society stamps “Approved” or “Unapproved” on personal choices.
It helps me to understand that the one infinite God is expressed in an infinite number of ways.
God is infinite individuality, and each child reflects the divine uniqueness. You are special. I am special. Everyone is special!
In the Grand Whole, we complement each other, but are not the same as another. We have a common parentage, but we possess a unique individual expression of the one Parent.
This is so cool! Because it means you don’t have to be like someone else. You can be yourself.
You have your own special place in the universal scheme of things to occupy. No other can stand in your shoes or sit in your seat. There is no competition for you.
Your job is to be you! Enjoy the privilege.
How wonderfully true, Evan and thank you for this reminder to perk us up for the day. Being a unique expression, we also have are unique expression of supply from the One Inexhaustible Source !
Your….”timing” … is impeccable, Evan!
:<))))))))))))))))))))))
Yes! Be yourself. Everyone else is taken!
🙂
I always feel so sorry for those individuals who look to others to be alike to themselves. And this was since my childhood years. My favorite saying that I made up myself in those childhood years was when I said to an adult; “That 3 year old over there knows something that you don’t. ” “What was that?” The adult asked. “What he would like right now.” I answered.
Lately I have been struggling to “feel the Love”. Reading the first line of your blog today REALLY helps. Thank you, Evan!
I think I shared at one time I called myself “Unique”. I felt special because I did not know anyone who was like me at that time. Everyone has caught up and now I don’t claim to be that “Unique” I used to be. Dianne, I loved yours thoughts ” One Inexhaustible Source”. Pam that be yourself everyone ; everyone else is taken, really made me smile. Thanks to all of you! I don’t think that I’ve ever seen a snowflake that I didn’t like.
Well sometimes I can be a bit “flakey.” I like to laugh and joke and have fun – you know, express joy. Thanks for the post, and all of the wonderful comments!
