Get the grain of sand out

September 15, 2011 | 2 comments

It is not the road ahead that wears you out.
It is the grain of sand in your shoe.
~ Arabian proverb
Are there any grains of sand in your shoe today?
What might those grains of sand be?  Worry, doubt, fear, anger, resentment, laziness, ingratitude are a few…  If harbored, they wear you out, keep you low and sap enthusiasm and energy to advance.
Clean out your mental shoes today! Get rid of those “grains of sand,” that trouble otherwise happy feet, and joyfully bounce down the trail of progress.

  1. A timely reminder for me as it is for everyone I’m sure.

I just watched your full online lecture last night and came away feeling so inspired after a hard day. I went to bed free of the bonds that would shackle. Thank you!
