God is your everything

September 13, 2016 | 38 comments

As a child of God, God is your everything.

God is standing in your shoes, sitting in your chair, thinking in your mind.

God is the atmosphere around you, the ground beneath you, the sky above you.

God is the day you are living, the path you are walking, the experience you are having.

God is the health you are expressing, the vigor you are showing, the strength you are enjoying.

God is the cause for the intelligence that empowers you, the wisdom that leads you, the ideas that inspire you.

God is the Life you live, the presence you possess, the activity you engage.

God is your entirety, your wholeness, your All.

God, good, is all there is.

God is your everything.

  1. Profoundly simple and lovely, Evan, thank you, and abiding gratitude for many contributions in so many ways to heal and bless.

  2. Love it Evan! It reminds me of an article I recently read that said – God is always thinking me, knowing me, loving me, living me…………I have this on a little yellow sticky to remind myself

  3. What a lovely feeling…God is our everything. Our health, our life, our dwelling place, our strength, our Shepherd, our true relative, our rock, our best friend, our physician, guard and guide, a very present help in trouble, our dependable anchor, our helper, the source of our happiness and all good, our comforter, our law maker, our judge, our stay all way. God fills all space, so all in fact is good – “the expression and reflection of His being.” So in fact God is our everything. Thank you God.
Thanks Evan for this lovely reminder.

  4. Well, that covers Everything! How wonderfully put! Thank you, Evan … great to remember! and a terrific way to start the day

    1. A peaceful, happy and beautiful reflection you are and I better understand now what it took to arrive at this place of which you speak.

    1. Tyke I agree wholeheartedly. It seems the more we come to understand the Truth of who and what we are, of what “reality” is, fewer are the words needed to describe it. Until, finally……………..LOVE.
      Many blessings in It’s wings……….for you…for all…..

  5. Evan, thank you for expressing Truth. Me thinks what is true for one is true for all.
These statements when read, then contemplated and finally understood are potent transformative ideas.
My journey began with the desire to understand the significance of the perception of opposites of the world we seem to live in. Study, prayer and practice initiated an unfoldment of awareness that became an ongoing experience I was conscious of moment by moment, day by day. The unfoldment revealed the presentation of opposites perceived by the physical senses is an illusion. What I am left with has been beautifully and so clearly summed up by the statements you have expressed.

  6. Thank You, Dear Evan! What then is this material world that seems to scream so loudly…..?? Why….it is nothing but a dream of the material senses, a dream we seem to be caught in, but are waking up out of through our study and understanding of the Spiritual Truth in the Bible and in the Key to the Bible – Science & Health! “With every breath we are Awakening, with every Day we feel more Free!” Happy Reality to All!

  7. WOW!! Thank you Evan. This says it all in a nutshell. Nergish and Spiritview Fan I appreciated your comments in particular.

  8. Thank you so much Evan! Beautiful and inspiring, so full of Love…because Love is all there is!
Would love to see this in The Christian Science Journal or Sentinel!

  9. What a great gentle reminder tht we can wrap our thought around It is posted here in my office and too a great prayer. Thanks

  10. Reading your blog today, Evan, reminds me of Psalm 91 where it says:

    9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy HABITATION;

10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.

Abiding in the Lord in our everyday thinking – as you expanded upon – is a secure mental dwelling place to be. We walk by faith and not by sight.

  11. Thank you, Evan, for this simple yet perfect reminder.
And thanks, too, to jhp – now I have it on a little yellow sticky, too! 🙂

  12. Thank you! This is the complete answer to the question I posed to myself yesterday:
WHAT PART OF ALL DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND??????
