God Has What Meets Your Need

“And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

~ Jesus Christ, Luke 11:9, NLT

The very good you seek is found in the Mind of God that created it in the first place. It’s not a material thing, like a bike, a new place to live or a promotion that meets your primal needs. Its wisdom, understanding and insight that reveal the completeness of God’s creation within you that truly satisfy and take you to a better place.

  1. Divine Love (God) meets every human need when the asking is not material but spiritual as the above blog points out.

  2. I believe this is true, Evan! But…doesn’t the good we seek ‘appear’ as shoes, a job,
a friend? I think so. I believe God is very Practical, meeting immediate needs. I accept that the ideas behind these (which actually do actually constitute these “things”) are spiritual. But they can and do and might appear as a….Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich!

    Yes? No?

    ;<))))

  3. I have learned that no matter what the material need might be I cannot outline what I wish to have appear. A tough one (for me) has been “Not MY will but THINE be done.” When I quietly commune with our loving Father/Mother/God the answers always come when I LISTEN. Many times the answer(s) may not be what originally I thought they should or might be; but, God always, always knows what we need and that divine Love will meet that need. So many prayers in this vein have always brought me/us answers and supply. How comforting that God knows what the need is before we even begin our prayer. So many answers, supply came to us that my husband would look at me and say, “Another THANK YOU, God!!”

  4. I feel when praying for needs, mostly assumed material beliefs, I find it uncomfortable to call my Class Teacher, because I am unable to always clear up these beliefs. I have called other Practitioners for help. Why do I feel this way?

    1. You should always feel comfortable to call your class teacher. They are there to help! And they do not judge you. They are there to love you and help you. So don’t let self-consciousness get in the way of receiving a potential great benefit.
