  1. In a world with a belief of lacking for something or someone, these words means everything to all that believe ( even without see) in God. Is the spirituality consciousness and understanding of Him.
Thank you so much for this passage.
    Warmly
    Daniel

  2. Thank you for this powerful citation from the Bible Evan!

Again and again when my thoughts are in turmoil, I find Mrs Eddy’s words, in Mother’s Evening Prayer, a huge comfort.

“Love is our refuge; only with mine eye
Can I behold the snare, the pit, the fall:
His habitation high is here, and nigh,
His arm encircles me, and mine, and all.”

    1. Lovely Shelagh – so helpful is knowing that any false belief in material ‘ disorder ‘ ( the snare , the pit , the fall ) cannot touch or impact our true ( divine ) sight

  3. On reading this citation, I remembered “for the battle is not yours, but God’s” (2 Chronicles 20:15); thank you for sharing your uplifting inspiration

  4. We know we can trust in God for. He is ever present
(Emmanuel) God with us And part of the
following is in this week’s Lesson, which I find very reassuring:-

“O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O LORD, thou knowest it altogether. Thou hast beset me behind and before, and laid thine hand upon me. …
Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.
    (Psalms 139:1–5, 7–12)

  5. From the sentinel December 29th 1934
    By Doris H.White

    God’s Care…
    God’s loving arm upholds you,
    His care surrounds you still;
    Rest in this sweet assurance,
Nor doubt how good His will.

See all that would oppose Him—
    Alike unreal, untrue;
Know health and peace and plenty
    Abound in Him for you.

    Let gratitude and gladness
    Replace each anxious fear;
    Love giveth you dominion—
The Truth that frees is here!

Thanks Evan …it’s the starting point❣️

    1. I love how these words of wisdom, either from the Bible’s “time”,
or from 1921 or from 1934 or from current – are all just as relevant
now as they were then. From this wonderful article (Thank you, J ):
“The future belongs to God, and He is taking care of it. Our work
is to know this and leave it to Him with no anxious thought, and by
so doing, bring harmony into our future as well as our present experience”.
This morning, my dear little dog was happily racing up the outside steps and
didn’t realize there was ice and slipped, falling quite aggressively on to
his side. My first reaction would have been of fear, and “Oh, no, I hope he
will be alright”, but was replaced by thoughts, such as Mrs. Eddy’s (in S&H,
pg. 424), ” Under divine Providence there can be no accidents, since there
is no room for imperfection in perfection”… and , “Accidents are unknown
to God”. He quickly got up, continued to race inside and is expressing his
perfection, just as before, with no ill effects. Coddling a false belief only
seems to make that belief real.

  6. From such a simple, but yet profound statement above, comes such
comfort and lovely comments. Thank you Evan, and All, for these
wonderful truths to take through the day. BarbaraUK, that poem
says it all and coincides with the message for today so well. Any
seeming problem that we may face, God’s Love and comfort is
with us always and in all ways.

  7. Hi Spirit View family. I would like to share this article with you and would appreciate it if someone can find the link to it.

    1. Wow! This article dovetails beautifully with Evan’s featured Bible verse today. I love this article❣️

      Thanks for sharing this!

  8. Dear Evan, thank you very much for the Psalm-verse which is very comforting!
I have a very kind neighbor which helps me a lot. But always when we part she says to me “bey, and do well”. Okay, but I always ask myself then what must I still do better? However in the next moment the thought comes – and I’m sure it’s from God – that I cannot but do everything well because I am God’s perfect expression. And I only need to commit everything to God and trust Him fully, and He will help us! Thank you again, Evan! This Spirit-View verse is so short but immensely powerful and very healing! Thank you for the daily lovely spiritual treats which gives us food for a blessed God’s-day.

And I always thank you all for the links to wonderfully helpful articles relating to the SVs and for the inspiring and loving comments!
