There is considerable fear about the variant forms the coronavirus is taking around the world, with medical authorities concerned that the virus is mutating into ever more difficult forms to control with vaccines. There is a spiritual perspective that can dissolve this fear and maintain health.
Rather than focusing on the mutation of a virus, which is the mutation of mortal belief, the more constructive route to safety is to focus on understanding the truth about health that prevents contagion and infection.
Health is not a variable state of matter. Health is a state of Mind. It’s not a state of the human mind, which can fluctuate, but of the divine Mind that each of us express fully and abundantly as children of God.
As we know the truth about spiritual health, we protect ourselves from losing health.
Health is a fixed state, a permanent condition of our being in Spirit. It is not subject to a virus, or susceptible to contagion. Like a circle is always round no matter what symbols are assembled around it, we are always healthy as spiritual children of God no matter what variants of mortal belief seem to circulate around us.
It doesn’t matter what mutation the coronavirus takes, none of them are a threat to our health coming from God. They are all harmless. Health from Spirit is impermeable, invincible.
Celebrate the truth about your health! It doesn’t vary, and no variant of mortal belief is a threat to it. Understand the truth about health, and stay healthy.
The variant of nothing is always and ever nothing.

“Fear becomes a never ending game.” So true. So simple. So ripe for destruction. Refuse to play the game/take the fear bait.
God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

We can also know how safe we are from every mounting false fear about the virus and
so-called mortal mind’s continual fear of it appearing in new forms. We can know that
‘He will not afflict.’ (Job 37:23)
We will believe only in God’s loving care for us all every moment wherever we
are and whoever we are with. We are all the blessed of the Lord.
Just as Ken says, a variant of nothing is always nothing – and the somethingness
of God’s perfect pure creation is always present.

Thanks Evan. I really like the metaphor of the circle as it not only symbolizes completeness , nothing added or taken away, but it is enclosed like a protective bubble. The variants being variations of human belief is a good way to see this situation..they may “circulate around us” but as symbols, not realities. I’ve read and re-read this 3 times and it’s very helpful to me.

Love looseth thee, and lifteth me, / Ayont hate’s thrall: / There Life is light, and wisdom might, / And God is All.”
Yes! God’s knows His-Her creation as pure, whole and complete which no variant or dis-ease can touch or compromise. The Truth of man’s origin and Life is that we are always under the care and protection of our Creator, our Father-Mother God. Truth obliterates fear, material sense, & media forecasts of trauma. Thanks to all contributors who continue to share the Truth about man being the beloved child of God. This Truth includes every man, woman, child and even our animal friends!

I am liking the word Immutable in this week’s lesson. I know it means “unchangeable” but because we’re using ZOOM so often these days and mute is one of our options… I like the idea of immutable being the unsilence-able voice of Truth. Add to that the unchangeableness of Truth and the notion that the virus can mutate is nullified/neutralized/annihilated. It has no voice. Love the picture too. THANK YOU
All these beliefs about variation and mutation of matter can have no effect on Being. Nothing, no matter how loud it tries to shout, can change the facts of being. The facts of being are that God is All in All and His Allness is completely good.
