Here’s an article published in my local newspaper this week about a vision healing I was able to report, “He never lost sight of God’s healing power.” Printed in the Tri-City Herald, Sunday, February 1, 2026.

Wow, what a boon to the prevalent yet impotent claim of failing eyesight. Especially as one gets older. You proved this from Misc Writings p.277: “NO EVIDENCE before the material senses can close my eyes [or eyesight] to the scientific PROOF that God, good, is supreme.”. God’s good never changes. His Presence AS our life is not only Omnipresent, but it is Omni-Evident as your experience proves. Beautiful testimony!❣️

What a wonderful testimony Evan. Thank you for sharing, plus how great to have a public opportunity to express proof of the power of God.
In the text you mentioned that it was several months before you noticed the physical change necessary. That made me think how important it is to persist with our prayers and not be influenced by mortal thoughts of disappointment or ..what am I doing wrong? feelings…This has been a stumbling block for myself on occasion.
Sight indicates spiritual awareness and you proved it’s ours to claim as it is Gods to give.

One of the points that was made clear to me as a result of taking CS class instruction was the importance of keeping watch for, and detecting in thought, “error” and then correcting it. For example, it would be easy to believe, as medical practices have become more and more “complicated” (versus “sophisticated”), that the practice of CS healing could seem more and more “backward,” “unexpected,” or “miraculous.” Therefore, I think it’s important to guard against that error and correct it. Nobody thinks it’s “amazing” or “unexpected” when light eliminates darkness, so we can know it’s just as natural for truth to eliminate error in our experiences as easily and with as much certainty!

I join with our SV family in thanking you for sharing this testimony. I love the title they choose for your article – He Never Lost Sight of God’s Healing Power. “Lost sight of” is an idiom meaning here that you never forgot, overlooked or failed to be aware of some important truth. When materially the physical eyes seemed to be diminished in seeing power, you didn’t forget or overlook, but rather held on to the truth of God’s All Power, undiminished in every faculty and capacity.
This also stood out, “As I found peace with this prayer, over several months I noticed my vision improving.” As you found your peace with what you were understanding and affirming – that peace, that feeling of God’s presence, that was the healing. Thank you.
