I have so much to do that I shall spend the first three hours in prayer.

So lovingly put..patience seeing past the roar of the crowd ,..the momment .. the ego.
A visitor was with us for 3 days and the political force picked up but like tides receded..
to hold fast to Truth as best .. by the third day the word Faith and Love came up alone..
Having Mrs Eddy and the Christ, all in all, had been at the table of thought
they never lost a beat ..
That Faith is the Muscle to exercise ,,,Love the Power, plugged in everywhere.. forever
charging renewable energy and compassion. Thank you to Evan and SpiritViewers..
We’re always at the Beginning.. We’ve only just begone to Live..all ways.. Now
When I first joined a CS branch church I was put on the music committee of three people. There had been no soloist at the church for a very long time, in part because of limited funds for a salary. I said, let’s pray three hours a day all week. The other two said “What? We can’t even pray five minutes.” I said we’ll each take one hour. I will go first since I have to work, then I will call the next one when I’m done, and she will call the last when she is done. I found the hour just flew by the first day, full of inspiration. The second day it was a little harder, and the third day more so. So I prayed to know nothing could stop God from speaking to us and we, His children receiving his tender, powerful instruction. We got a soloist within two weeks. Martin Luther was right. Nothing is more important than listening to God. And Evan is right. Getting a soloist was good, and showed we were on the right track. But what I learned from that week of prayer is with me still.
A beautiful demonstration Kay. Thank you for sharing! Your comment reminded me that our prayers don’t “change” anything. They just reveal what is already there! God was always providing your church with what it needed and your prayers just revealed that supply to you. Thanks again!

So very true. Thank you!
Love ❤️
Thanks. So true and helpful.
Thanks also for the sharing of Kay. .
An excellent and beautiful reminder that by first investing in prayer and right thinking, we then gain the capital to move through our day with ease and grace, accomplishing every needed task.
It seems the day always goes better, when we start the day with a
spiritual awakening. Everything seems brighter, more harmonious,
more happy, inspired, smooth. Missed spirit view from being here
this morning, but am grateful it is here now… and as inspirational
as always. Thank you Evan and all.

This is so true, Evan! I find that starting my day prayerfully and mindfully increases my ability to stay peaceful and present-centered throughout the rest of the day resulting in greater likelihood of loving presence and right action.
I’m not sure who to credit this to, but this has helped me to realize the importance of prayer, especially when I have a lot to do:
Prayer is preparation.
Thank you Kay. You embraced in a short post the fundamental of demonstration. A beautiful story that I shall long remember.
In Miscellany, Mary wrote of emotionalism being largely self-glorification. For one to utter they haven’t 5 minutes to pray, let alone an hour reveals they forgot their duty to demonstrate.
I’ve grown to realise knowledge of Christian Science is a good start, yet practice, practice, practice is where we glorify God, not ourselves.
