When You Improve the World Improves

April 14, 2014 | 8 comments

Millions of people care about the world they live in and seek ways to improve it. A multitude of local, state, national and international causes are born out of a caring person’s desire to make the world a better place.

Millions of people feel helpless about improving the world they live in. They see monumental political, economic and social problems looming, feel helpless to do anything about them, and fear a world in decline.

But there is always something anyone can do to help!

We live in a world of thought. When one person’s thought gets better, the collective thought they are part of gets better.

For instance, have you ever had the atmosphere of your home improve when one family member expressed a healthier and happier attitude than everyone else? Or at the workplace, are there some workers that bring an upbeat perspective into the office that makes everyone feel better?

The same effect works in the world. The world is collective thought of all its inhabitants. When one thought improves, everyone feels the effect to some degree, whether they are aware of the effect or not.

When you are more caring, the care you show ripples into the lives of those around you that feel that care, and it ripples even further through their lives to those whom they interact. There is no limit to how far the effect of one kind deed can reach around the globe.

So, if you’d like to be a positive force for good in this world, wait no longer. You can start now, by being that force for good where you are—in family, church, community, state, national and international affairs.

When you improve, the world improves.

  1. Very true Evan. Right God Good thinking improves as ones thoughts reflect that goodness. There is no such attitude of giving help in the hearing of so-called catistrophies in the news media. All we have to do is to know that God never created it, and healing starts happening.

  2. “We live in a world of thought. When one person’s thought gets better, the collective thought they are part of gets better.”

Thank you for this simple and powerful truth. It gives me a very quiet yet important sense of responsibility. Exactly the direction I needed today.

  3. Thank you Evan!

For those of you that have struggled with the question “what is my purpose in life?”, as I did in my earlier years, this answers that question very well.

  4. Thank you. I appreciate your clear responses to public thought. As you so effectively point out, the world needs & is blessed when each of us lets our light shine… just as the sun needs each & all of its rays to shine for it to shine brightly.

Thank you for the inspiration you share so consistently & clearly.

  5. Thank You…How beautifully you explained this subject and how clear you have made it., We can never tire of doing good no matter how hard it is sometimes..

HAVE A VERY HAPPY EASTER…I KNOW YOU WILL 🙂

  6. Thank you, Evan. Reader, share your thought, your good thoughts, AND this will make the world better! Do see tomorrow’s Spirit View, Tuesday, April 15, for further enlightenment by Evan.
