  1. …the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness. For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
    (Psalms 18:28, 29)

Through the teachings of Christian Science we
learn that God does not put up walls in front
of us, when we are keeping His laws. The walls
stand for suggestions of so-called mortal mind
which would suggest that we can’t achieve this,
or do that. We must silence these suggestions
    if we would overcome them.

With God all things are possible, the Bible tells us, and Jesus says that we can do what he does if we do those things which please God.

We may not be ready yet for walking on the water,
or walking through doors, as Jesus did, but we can
be learning step by step how to achieve our
spiritual identity, as Christ Jesus taught and demonstrated for us.

We are assured we can find our way over the
walls of resistance which would block our way forward, and try to prevent our progress. We
can keep going with Christ at the helm of our
    thought and aims.

    1. Wonderful thoughts and so true. Error tries to put up seemingly impossible road blocks, but they are nothing more than smoke and mirrors. No substance or truth in them.

  2. Thank you Evan for all your inspiring posts.
Thank you Maggie for your lovely elucidation of today’s topic – very helpful.

  3. Amen sisters! This dovetails beautifully with this week’s Sentinel Watch.

  4. In this weeks lesson…
‘’The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.’’ Deut 33
This is one of my most go to bible verses when keeping going to negotiate one of lifes ‘’walls”’
Thank you Evan and Maggie for your insightful comment.❣️

  5. Yes!

Good to know that God, divine Love, has not made walls or other blocks to our enjoying His Kingdom!
So what are these illusions? Just that. And we walk through them, with our Love-bestowed dominion!!

  6. Thank you for this – inspiration to get over walls or hurdles that
would try to obstruct our progress. I am reminded of US former President
Ronald Reagan, who had said, “Tear down this wall!” (referring to the wall
that divided Germany at the time). The walls of sense that may seem
to deter us from seeing through the lens of Spirit, with Love’s powerful
presence, can also tear down this seeming wall of materiality that would
try to keep us from seeing ourselves and others as being mortal and thus
limited in ways that we think we are “stuck” in. From sense to Soul, we can
soar above them, go through them or tear them down in our quest to not
    be deterred by mortal thinking.
