Know your safety in God’s presence

“This I declare about the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; he is my God, and I trust him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from deadly disease….Do not dread the disease that stalks in darkness, nor the disaster that strikes at midday.

“If you make the Lord your refuge, if you make the Most High your shelter, no evil will conquer you; no plague will come near your home. For he will order his angels to protect you wherever you go.”

~ Psalms 91, New Living Translation

  1. Just marked and studied the new lesson.
Thank you Evan for the comforting verses from the loved 91st Psalm! Now I can go out and do the necessary errands with joy and harmony and trusting in full safty through God’s, Love’s protecting omnipresence and care for all people!♡

  2. I love what a different translation can do to enhance our understanding. Thank you for an enhanced thought.

  3. Thank you Evan. The 91st Psalm is always so reassuring of God’s continual care of all His children.

In the King James translation it states, “Thou shalt not be afraid for the….pestilence that walketh in darkness.” This says to me that only when thought seems to be swimming in a dark place can any pestilence appear real. Thank God that He lifts us out of those dark places in thought when we humbly turn to Him and ask Him to remind us of the beautiful Truth and safety of Being.

  4. That is the most wonderful news! Of course, I’ve believed it before, but it’s refreshing to be reminded beyond a doubt. Thank you!

  5. Thank you Evan for your angel message that as we align thought to God,- the operative divine Principle Love, we experience abiding health and safety.
And, Angie, bless you for the link to the powerful article “Proving divine Mind’s control of the body” by David Sleeper. Exactly what I needed this morning.
