Let God order your thoughts and your day

December 30, 2015 | 14 comments

Would you like your day to be inspiring, productive, profitable, and progressive? Let God do the planning, and it will be.

Sometimes humans are tempted to believe that the activities of their day are unpredictable and uncertain. Events may turn out good or bad depending upon what evil or good forces are at work around them, so they think. And this will be the outcome, if they believe in it strong enough.

But Life with God is not a series of unpredictable outcomes. God is absolute good. When God is in control of the planning and the execution, the outcome will always be good.

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way,”
we read in Psalms 37:23, NKJV

The steps of a good day are ordered by the Lord…

The steps of a good plan are ordered by the Lord…

The steps of a good life are ordered by the Lord…

We let God order our day when we begin our day in prayer, listen to God’s voice as we proceed, and end the day with gratitude to God for all the help that came our way.

To let God order your day is to not let fear, sin, disease or other people order your day.

God thinks for Himself. God makes up his own Mind. God knows what He wants to do. God has an excellent plan in Mind and is executing it reliably on your behalf.

God doesn’t need help from the human mind to improve His plan.

God is not impressed by fear, sin or disease. God knows only eternal Life, infinite good, ever-present Love, reliable and predictable health.

To let God order your day is to align your thought with God’s realities and let them take over your every thought and action.

To let God order your day is to let God order your thought.

And when you let God order your thought, the outcome of your day will be very good, because the outcome of God inspired thoughts is progressive and healing.

Let God order your thought today, and enjoy the benefits.

  1. In my morning of reading the Bible Lessons, I think strongly of the direction Gods thoughts.
When I focus on the need for healing on many issues. I feel encouraged to direct these thoughts to addressing the needs.

  2. Thank you for this powerful message — starting your day off with the absolute power of God to “order your thought.”

    1 Chronicles 29:11
“Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.”

  3. Thank you, Evan, and I love how this corresponds with your Daily Lift today! Thinking along these lines sure takes a lot of stress off of having to do it all ourselves. I’ve somewhere heard an expression, “Let go and let God”. Yes. What a great way to relieve the seeming burdens we often tend to struggle with.

  4. Perfect! This, along with today’s Daily Lift (which you gave,) helps me as I travel today… or plan any other day. Blessings!

  5. Great start to a great day. I’m with what all the others have said. We get two inspirations today. So today I’ll let God be my day planner knowing I’ll always be in my rightful place.

  6. What more could anyone want than this “double dose” of God through Evan’s wonderful listening and sharing. I so agree with the comments from Mary Hickok. Thanks a bunch!

  7. “All things work together for good to them who Love (Lean upon) God.” Is my favorite because it annialates any thought of discouragement or condemnation if healing doesn’t come. The most important thing is the motive behind the prayer. It must be sincere without a touch of selfishness.

  8. thanks indeed for the Lift of yesterday and the inspiring truths of yesterday, Evan, which I just now read, because I am new as a receiver of the blog SpiritView – and the first thought of Truth I got is one of the most important, to let GOD do the work, and we have only to reflect our Father-Mother-God, nad all will gturn out well.
