“Don’t let yesterday use up too much of today.”
~ Will Rogers
You have a progressive Life to live! Like driving down the highway, you can’t see where you’re going up ahead if you keep looking backward. You’ll either go nowhere, or drive into the ditch.
Put the past into God’s hands and focus on all the good unfolding before you. Let everyday be fresh and new.
What a beautiful idea….to look ahead and progress in life, instead of turning back and focusing on the past mistakes and wasting precious, present moments. Thanks so much dear Evan for this lovely idea of looking ahead to the infinite possibilities rather than crying over spilt milk.
If we live well today, tomorrow will be a better day and we shall look on yesterday with pleasant memories. So let’s look to the abundant blessings of today, the limitless love of God, His beauty and bounty, His innumerable graces, His unconditional love which shines equally on each and everyone. Today comes with infinite blessings, the limit is the sky, so why look back and cry???
Thanks, Evan and Nergish, for the loving reminder that today is God’s day and we can move forward with confidence and comfort in that fact!
Yes !Now and look forward. Today is the day the Lord hath made. Thanks Nergesh , Alex and Evan.
OOPs sorry Nergish
You worded it so beautifully.
Valuable advice which I am applying to a healing. Thanks Evan.
This is from a short inspirational “Just For Today” a friend shared with me:
Just for today I will know that I have strength to
meet and conquer every claim of error, and that
under the guidance of divine Principle I will be
led to throw open the door for the entrance of
Truth, and know that through that same door
error is cast forth.
Then with a sweet sense of God’s nearness I will
know that yesterday has gone, and left no
bitterness, and that today is big with blessings,
that tomorrow belongs to God; and to realize this
today eliminates all worry and pain and trouble,
and brings me peace and happiness.
This is the day the Lord hath made. I will rejoice and be glad I
in it! No one can live yesterday again ! Thanks for your thoughts
all .
A dear hymn reminds us, “All the good the past hath had remains to make our own time glad”.
Now is the only time!
Uplifting! Thank you all very much..
N. “nearer my God to thee”
O. Omnipresent,, Omnipotent, Omniscient
W. wonderful blessings every day
What a way to live in the eternal NOW!
Thank you,Evan and everyone.
That’s the best reminder; lifted me right up and out of feeling sick. NOW works well, and so I’ve claimed and demonstrated that today! I am Loved NOW. GOD is Omnipresent, Omnipotent, as well as Omniscient. The blessings are streaming in!
Thanks Virginia
yes, thanks dear Evan. I can put my past trustfully into God’s hands, because God is the eternal Good in whom we always had our real spiritual being. And therefore all seeming negative experiences did not happen and had never a reality.
So I can prayerfully look forward every day anew, being exited what good, progressive and blissful healings our good God has in store for us.
Am very grateful for the teachings of this wonderful Science of the Christ!
Thank you all for your so inspiring and helpful comments!
Tomorrow is the first day of the rest of your life.
Put another way….and I wish I could remember who said this, but I love it:
“Don’t look back, you’re not going that way.”
What a lovely thought to keep in mind.
