Love those clogs!

I never understood clogs, until this trip to The Netherlands.
It’s marshy and wet in The Netherlands, even more so in centuries past than today. The Dutch came up with the idea of wooden shoes to keep their feet dry when they were out working in the fields and going about their business. They didn’t have rubber boots back then! Clogs met the need.

If the shoe fits, wear it….

The shoe/clogs didn’t fit. But it was fun to try!

  1. Thinking of you and Kathy being emissaries not only for Christian Science but for the United States makes me smile. You are touching so many lives on your trip and always seeing the best in everyone around you. Love reflecting love!

  2. “If the shoe fits, wear it.” Is a popular idiom. In this case, a clog is a type of wooden shoe. Evan always finds spiritual meanings in all that he sees. In this case, “If the thought heals, think it.” I made that up, but really, Evan, in his Blogs is teaching me how to see spiritually and not materially.
