Love without qualification

This post is for animal lovers and those who appreciate evidence of God’s love manifest through actions of heaven’s four-legged creatures.

This 4 minute video, The Orangutan and Hound is quite a sight. It’s like two long lost friends finding each other after searching for years and years….Capture in your mind the ebullient smile of the Orangutan at the very end.

POST-EDIT QUALIFICATION:  After posting the above video, I received a very kind and thoughtful email from an expert in the field of chimpanzee and orangutan care. It was pointed out that this video is a trained photo opportunity for media attention to promote attendance at the trainer’s private zoo. It was also noted that orangutans often show this kind of affection for dogs or cats at a young age, but as they grow older, to 6 or 7 years, they become too dangerous for other animals. They are so strong that even in efforts to be gentle, they can cause great physical injury to other pets. So, if you’re tempted to think of them as possible pets, think again. Probably not a good idea. There are much better habitats for them to thrive in. Here’s one such place I found on the web:  Center for Great Apes
