Love your enemy

Now here’s an interesting readerboard message seen posted outside a church…

Speak well of your enemies.
After all, you made them.

So true, so true. How often is the person we dread the objectification of our own envy, hate, jealousy or anger? The enemy without is typically an enemy within projected onto another.

  1. I read somewhere that we only love God as much as we love the person we love the least.

  2. I think this is exactly what Jesus was talking about when he cautioned “judge not lest ye be judged” and the “measure ye mete is the measure you get” not mentioned that blasted plank in our eyes…
