New Zealand is such a beautiful country, I wanted to share some more photos!

Below, a lone volcano out in the middle of a vast plain. This was not a sight I expected to see in new Zealand but very majestic and a very active place for snow sports in the winter.

We stopped in Taupo for dinner and took a two-hour hike along a most beautiful river in that town. Awe inspiring colors and scenery.

Beautiful! I’m especially impressed with the color of that river water. Can’t say I’ve seen any river that pretty.
Such beautiful scenery — I love seeing the photos. Are there homes and villages in these valleys that just don’t show up in the photos? Bonnie
