Not a body of lack

In my lecture, “Living in Abundance,” I often remind my audience that when they understand their relationship to God, that they will see themselves as walking, living, moving, breathing abundance.
As a lead up, I explain that as children of God they reflect God’s presence. God is supply. Therefore, they reflect supply—the presence of wisdom, intelligence, creativity, love and ability–all the qualities that meet human needs. There is no lack in them.
A woman reported to me recently that while listening to this lecture it occurred to her that, “There is no body of lack. There is only supply.”
She had been identifying herself as a “Body of lack.” She could list out many items that appeared to be lacking in her life, and she so closely identified with that emptiness, that she felt like she was that lack, a body of lack!
Whoa, what a breakthrough for her…
After the lecture, she decided to quit identifying herself as a body of lack, and to see herself correctly as the reflection of abundant supply.
It made all the difference and led to more bounty expressed in her life.

  1. Thank you so very much for sharing this! It seems so easy to fall into a habit of attaching lack to your life (in almost any circumstance) that this is a real call to awaken and be in my space in a different way. I’m grateful!
