If you’re ever tempted to feel overwhelmed by a multitude of problems clamoring for your attention and not sure where to begin in tackling them, it’s the perfect moment to step back from the mesmerism of the moment and remember that you have ONE BIG SOLUTION to all those problems. The omnipotence of God!
With God’s power, you master those problems and leave them behind.
Love this so much Evan, thank you!❣️
Beautiful,Evan. Thank you, I really appreciate this.
Thank you Evan! I have been feeling like everything was being thrown at me and it was exactly the idea of the OMNIPOTENT OMNIPRESENCE that guided me through that wilderness. Thank you for the reminder this morning. Mary Baker Eddy counsels us to “Stick to the Truth…” I had recently asked myself what does it mean to “know the truth”… The answer I rec’d was :be still and know that I am God”….be still and know that [God] – the only I am – is the only power .
P.S. After I closed my previous post, my eyes were drawn back to the tittle “One Big Solution” and my thoughts went to the BIGNESS of the Sun vs the Earth. The sun looks small from the earth-bound perspective…but if we were able to zoom out far enough in space, we’d see how big is the sun.
Jesus said
‘’For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory,…’’
Mrs Eddy said
Love is the ..’’universal Solvent ‘’
Today Evan reminds us to be faithful to our understanding,… . God is All.
Wonderful..Thank you Evan.
Thank you Evan for the clarity of God’s goodness and protecting arm of LOVE. And to Sheila and Barbara for sharing your inspiration, it is much appreciated!
The 100 percent solution.
Thank you Evan. Thank you Sheila, and Barbara. Your inspiring words are so helpful to me today.
Somewhere I picked up this short prayer that I say often, “God is All. God is in charge. There is absolutely nothing to be concerned about. Wonderful things are taking place right now.” An affirmation of divine omnipotence and in line with today’s Spirit View.
I like that little prayer
Carol, it sounds a lot like an Association address given by Dorothy Rieke titled “Wonderful Things are Happening.” The address is now in wide circulation so you could possibly have read it. It’s very uplifting.
Your answer Eleanor guides me exactly where I need to go. I appreciate your contributing where that saying was located. Thanks for the uplift needed here RIGHT NOW!
Hi Carol, i believe your “short prayer” is from an association address given by Dorothy Rieke in 1969 with the same title Wonderful Things are Taking Place. What you wrote is in the first paragraph of the address! Thank you for reminding me to study it again!
Moments before I opened SpiritView this morning, I was enumerating my multitude of looming tasks, which seemed to be so enormous and overwhelming; and then I read Evan’s emphatic statement, which simply nullified my fear.
Stay with God because God is here
God is the ALL & ONLY power
We are one with God
I like to teasingly say “ God and I is one!”~ perhaps grammatically incorrect, but is actually true! God + me=1
And Carol’s lovely prayer comes from Dorothy Riele’s written lecture titled “Wonderful Things Are Happening!”

The words, “step back from the mesmerism of the moment” stood out to me
when reading this inspirational message to realize the omnipotence of God’s
ever presence and ever science, (as Mrs. Eddy describes “Science” in
Science and Health, with Key to the Scriptures.) It is this One Mind that guides
and comforts us into finding the ONE BIG SOLUTION, not little minds that try
to persuade us in a power apart from this One Mind.
A quote I came across by A.A. Milne says,
“The third-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the majority.
The second-rate mind is only happy when it is thinking with the minority.
The first-rate mind is only happy when it is THINKING”. To me, to try to put
that in Spiritual terms – the One Mind is what is important for us to try to
think spiritually, rather than what the mortal senses are always screaming
at us as being in control. It comes down to – what are we giving power to –
the mortal way of “thinking”, that slyly likes to creep into thought, with it’s
smiles of deception, or the Divine power – the One God, One Mind, that truly
is the ONE BIG SOLUTION.
“what are we giving power to –
the mortal way of “thinking”, that slyly likes to creep into thought”–yes, Angel, ‘slyly’ describes it perfectly! I’m reminded of a recent book titled, ‘Don’t Believe Everything You Think’–while it isn’t CS literature, I still find the caution to be helpful when an error thought comes my way.
Thank you for this message, Evan. It made me think: “God, the great I AM”, and so God the great I CAN. Your message reminds me that we have the power of God with us, behind us, and within us as direct reflections. I need to remember and acknowledge this, embody it, and reflect it more consistently. Thank you!
I love how Evan uses the word “moment” in SV. Previously mentioned in SV as “question of the moment” or “comment of the moment” and now “mesmerism of the moment”. To me, it delineates that what seemingly appears to go on humanly is nothing more than a blip/nanosecond in the mortal measurement called time. It’s what we learn with spiritual sense that is most important and goes on eternally. Just my take. 🙂
