As every hiker knows, the less weight you carry on your back, the faster you ascend the trail. The faster you progress!
The same rule applies to any endeavor in life. The less cumbersome weight you carry around in thought, the faster you move ahead with progressive healing ideas.
In this vlog, I explain how to “pack light,” for the fastest progress toward healing.
This video was filmed in the Box Canyon Falls, in Ouray, CO, when my wife and I visited, September 2024.
Take those thought that lift you up.
K.I.S.S. Keep it supremely simple! God is Love. God is All. Love is All. All is Love.
That’s in my backpack today. Thank you, Evan!
Pessimistic thoughts about yourself and others add weight to mental atmosphere and also eventually to your physicality. Think wisely and choose you this day what you will pack into your day.
Love this!
I think it must have been on this blog sometime in the past with someone poised this question:
“ do you know why Angels can fly?”
Because they carry no baggage”~~
the “baggage” you referred to, Evan. They carry no fear, anger, worry, hatred, etc..
Heavenly thoughts lift them and us, keeping us buoyant!
Thank you for this
And every day❤️
This vlog is certainly packed with so much inspiration. Thank you so much, Evan,
for taking us along on your hike. ( And we didn’t even weigh you down. LOL)
Loading up with heavenly thoughts is buoyant and freeing and spiritually
uplifting – so lovely. The gushing falls is so beautifully refreshing and is like the
eternality of thoughts that never end that are angel thoughts — inspired with
God-like messages of Truth pouring forth to us all of the time. In appreciation,
so much for all of the views of Spirit that you share so generously with us.
Thank you Evan for the reminder.
Jesus and Matthew 11:30 lead the way
For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Thank you again, Evan.
Another answer to why Angels can fly is that “they take themselves so lightly.”
I like adding the idea about not carrying any baggage. It’s almost a definition of “lightly.”
Many years ago, I went on my first solo backpack trip. I had everything I could think I’d need in my pack. What I wasn’t prepared for, though, was the silence… which I kept filling with thoughts about everything. It was an uncomfortable feeling. I finally realized that there was no need to be thinking, so I started listening. God must have heard me; the remainder of the hike was wonderful, beautiful, safe, and delightful.
Ahh! Loved this vlog about packing lightly as we go along .. Thanks Evan!
Angel messages and divine thoughts from God lighten any load. They make our backpacks practically lift us off the ground so we are floating on air “in the atmosphere of Love divine.” There is also the other meaning of light as in the light that dispels darkness. That spiritual light also lifts us up, above the mortal view. I want to live there all the time.
We have a large stretch of backyard that we call the wild country. There is a circular path through it with a bench halfway to sit in quiet with the birds and many other gentle creatures that live there. It is the perfect place to post up little hand painted signs with messages of Love. This angel thought will be a perfect addition.
When I go to the “wild country” I leave all my burdensome thought behind and take nothing in with me except the voice of God. It is a refreshing way to lighten my life, or as my daughter says “realign my compass”.
Dear Evan, I’m very grateful for your Vlog and ponder it which is so helpful.
Thank you all for your inspired comments. ♡
Pack light..
‘’…in Him is no darkness at all’’….
Excellent. Thank you Evan❣️
Should have added the quote is 1 John 1…. 🙂
Thankyou Evan, This has really helped me to watch my thought . Thankyou for SpiritView. it’s the first thing I go to in the morning. much love to all.
Thank you Evan. Beautiful scenery and message.
I typed these quotes a few years back…didn’t write down where they came from, sorry::
“Isaiah 62:10 encourages us to “gather out the stones”—which is a great metaphor for being active in identifying and removing whatever would drag us down, make us neglect our duty, or inhibit our spiritual growth.”
“Just like carrying those rocks, plowing on through our days, without examining what we’re mentally carrying, can limit our forward movement. Heavy thoughts can be added to our daily mental journey without our realizing it, unless we are being alert.”
“The human mind acts more powerfully to offset the discords of matter and the ills of flesh, in proportion as it puts less weight into the material or fleshly scale and more weight into the spiritual scale”
“Think about what you’re carrying that doesn’t serve you, and “gather out the stones” that are weighing you down. Enjoy praising Mind, Life, Soul, in your daily walk, making sure heavy burdens are not imposed on you. Then you can more effectively meet challenges along the way.”
