“God gives you His spiritual ideas, and in turn, they give you daily supplies. Never ask for tomorrow: it is enough that divine Love is an ever-present help; and if you wait, never doubting, you will have all you need every moment.”

~ Mary Baker Eddy, Miscellaneous Writings, p. 307

  1. What a comforting thought, God will supply daily the needs for the day and we need not worry about tomorrow, but rejoice in the abundance God is pouring forth today. Not only rejoice but even be grateful. Gratitude brings happiness and blessings. “Step by Step will those who trust in Him, find that God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.”
At times when our needs are not met immediately, we feel let down. But we know that even during that time God is working out our problem and He is very much on the scene though He seems invisible. The important thing is to trust in the all knowing, all seeing, all acting, all wise, and all loving, Father – Mother, God. And if we wait never doubting, we will have all we need every moment.
Thanks Evan for daily uplifting our thought and we truly enjoy the spiritual feast you so graciously give us. God bless.

  2. Yes, echoing Nergish’s words about the spiritual feast you prepare so generously for us during the week. Always thought provoking and spiritually incisive! Thank you, Evan!

  3. “God gives you his spiritual ideas & in turn they give you daily supplies,” is one of my favorite prayers as I wake in the morning. Although I fear, it never comes to fruition.

  4. All that is good is eternal and has infinite supply. When we open up to the good, we allow the infinite supply of divine principle to act within our lives bring us closer to the eternal harmony of Soul.

  5. This uplifting Spiritual View is a good reminder to nullify all doubt and fear that may seek imposition into our thought. God, our Father/Mother is forever loving us, guiding us, and showing us the way. God’s law, Truth and Principle uphold us in His unconditional love and we can go forward with thoughts of health, well being, joy , intelligence and freedom. I am so grateful that what ever the need, God’s ever presence provides the needed supply and strength for every moment!

  6. Evan, the quote you have given us is part of my daily prayers each morning as I pray the Lord’s Prayer after, “Give us this day our daily bread.” And, after “Give us grace for today” I add that “What we most need is a fervent desire for growth in grace expressed in patience, meekness, love, (gratitude) and good deeds.” Gratitude is an addition I always include as I feel it is so very important. I appreciate all of the comments so far.

  7. Gratitude! Gratitude! Makes me think of hymn #3. “A grateful heart a garden is, where there is always room For every lovely, God-like grace To come to perfect bloom.” Thank you, dear Evan, for the always uplifting “daily bread” you so generously share with us.

  8. God is very good! Loved all the beautiful sharings today. When we live for God’s grace we shall be blessed in so many ways that we could never ever have planned for. I’m constantly saying thank you Father!

  9. So very true and whenever, daily, my thoughts and needs are met.
The deeper I get in Divine Love, I feel so blessed and relieved of any negative thoughts.
I feel I have had so many healings and clarity of my thoughts. God is very good.
