If you’re thinking about retirement someday and wondering where to retire, choose a spiritual place to settle in. Retire in divine Mind!
The greatest good in life does not come from an address in a physical location. It comes direct from God. You have that connection now to honor and benefit from. You can’t move away from it, nor closer to it. You and God are at-one. You already have the best Life has to offer in your understood relationship to God.
If anything, a progressive retirement is about retiring from limited material thinking that would constrain God’s infinite goodness and advancing with expansive spiritual perspective that experiences more of God’s goodness. It’s about moving from material sense to spiritual sense.
With God, one never retires. They continue to grow, advance, progress, and experience the ever-multiplying love and care of infinite Love.
Retirement is about leaving behind limited ways of thinking, constrained activity, and service to mortal mind rather than whole-hearted service to divine Mind.
Retire with Mind, not with matter, and prosper, stay healthy and live happy. It’s the progressive place to move.
Thank you so much, Evan, this is very helpful in giving one a truer sense of ‘retirement’..
Best advice I ever got was; “You don’t retire FROM something, you retire TO something”. Retirement is not about endings, It’s about building on the foundation of your experience to express Mind in other ways.
Thanks for this great Spiritview. And thank you Roger for your comment. Love the idea of retiring TO something.
Thanks Evan and love the advice you were given Roger. A good article:

Thanks, Evan for these very valuable & spiritually practical insights ~~ much appreciated!! I’m striving
(learning) to actively think of retirement, retiring as reLife-ing===relife-ing ~~~ refreshingly, uniquely and expectantly with God’s reflecting goodness.
I heard it once said that ‘retiring is “putting on new tyres” – i.e. ‘re-tyring.’
Then we are ready to forward in the right direction full of new vitality,
Love this Evan. Thank you
.
Thanks Evan and thanks to everyone’s sharing today….I’ve been retired for 18 years and love this renewed concept of my existence! Thanks all!
Evan, I get SO much out of the way you help me see life! Fresh, positive and without fear.
In my retirement, I wrote a book and am preparing to birth my book in September, Feeling good that Spirit is guiding my every move forward.
Another definition of retire is to withdraw or depart or from or to a place. We benefit greatly when we retire to the realm of consciousness wherein it is clear that God is All.
Evan I loved your statement about, “the ever-multiplying love and care of Infinite Love.” I knew that God’s love and care for His children is never-ending, but to hear that it is actually ever- multiplying and growing is wonderful to ponder and really got my attention. Greetings and love to all.
Wow, thank you Evan – that is a wonderful spiritual view on spiritual retirement.
My understanding of spiritual retirement was always to have the opportunity to serve God more than before, and I do it with great pleasure and love for CS and my church! These are very healpful and healing spiritual thoughts, like always, thanks again Evan!
Clear, Healthy & Refreshing !♡
Spiritual vision will do it everything !
Thanks Evan.
