Seeing the good

April 23, 2013 | 3 comments

“Spiritual sense is the discernment of spiritual good.”
~ Mary Baker Eddy
Are you seeing the good today? Are you aware of all the good things going on around you this very moment? Are you paying attention to them, honoring them and acknowledging their presence?
Material sense typically fails to see the good. It sees wants, lack, finds something to complain about, criticize or judge harshly. Material sense is poverty, unhappiness, depression. It’s an empty dark place to dwell.
Spiritual sense does see the good. Spiritual sense is acutely aware of God’s blessings everywhere. It sees them, points them out, honors them, and expresses gratitude for them.
Spiritual sense is a happy place to be.
Material sense is an unhappy place to adopt.
Stay with spiritual sense today and prosper!

  1. Material Sense is what took us out of The Garden of Eden, (Heaven) in the first place, for it always sees the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and never the Tree of Life which return us to The Garden of Eden, (Heaven.)
