Superiority takes way to much effort to maintain! And it’s not nearly as much fun as getting to know yourself!
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
II Cor 5:17
Superiority over others is not God derived. It’s a sick attitude that man is superior over man which is the direct cause of Dictatorship. Only God’s law is above all laws which is materiality derived.
In my pole vault coaching I use this saying, “You conquer the world by conquering yourself.” It has been awhile since I used it, so it is good to have this timely reminder as I had a couple of kids this week face the fear of moving up to the next progression in skill. I’ll use this as the basis for my chalk talk on Monday. Thanks Evan for elevating this excellent thought.
