Stay in the infinite

September 30, 2024 | 20 comments

Are you living in the realm of the infinite?

God is infinite Love, infinite wisdom, insight, inspiration, joy, health, and every good thing that makes Life a joy to live.  It’s a fun place to live.

Material sense is the realm of the finite, seeing limits everywhere.  Not enough time, money, love, support, inspiration, not enough of this, that and the other.  Lack, shortages, discouragement, despondency, fear, disease and suffering are the experience of thought dwelling in the finite.  It’s not a fun place to be.

For a better experience, live in the infinite.  As a child of God, you have infinite Love to feel and express.  You have infinite wisdom, understanding and intelligence coming from divine Mind to act upon.  You have an unending supply of strength, inspiration, joy, and health pouring forth from Spirit to reflect.

Mary Baker Eddy writes, “The finite must yield to the infinite” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 256).

Any finite sense of things is destined to yield to the infinite reality.  It has no choice for the infinite continues forever, and the finite comes to end.

Side with the infinite, leave the finite behind, and prosper without limit!

  1. Those thoughts are extremely helpful!
And to be kept in mind throughout the day (s) Thanks so much for the post!

  2. This is such needed inspiration in a world that craves it so much these days.
Thank you so much Evan! Looking through a mortal, material, limited lens is
like wondering where the mountains are that are hidden by a fog. Mortal thinking
would say, “They were there yesterday morning. Where did they go? Should I go
and try to find them?” … or … is it just a belief that they are not there – a limited sense
of the mortal senses that are not real, but just a distortion of the Truth? Listening for
God’s voice is like hearing an interview (last night) that was so sweet, so precious,
so endearing – telling of the Truth of what is really important and real in Life/Love
and not what evil tries to relay as truth. Our focus must be on the infinite realm of
“Love, wisdom, insight, inspiration, joy, health and every good thing that makes Life
a joy to live” (-Thank you, Evan). A great way to start the week.

  3. God is Love. God creates us in His image and likeness and we need to trust in faith that God is here for us right now and always has been and always will be. We follow God’s lead by opening our hearts and minds to harmony, joy, peace and all of the good qualities that shine in consciousness.
There is not a spot where God is not.
Hymn 359: Trust the Eternal when the shadows gather,
    When joys of daylight seem so like a dream;
    God the unchanging pities like a father;
Trust on and wait, the daystar yet shall gleam.
    Love to you all

  4. Thank you all
Thank you, Evan, for this eternal day and for allowing us to realize our complete communion with our source.
To realize our progress is real.

  5. Thank you for this post.
When I think of the word infinite, I relate it to Gods unchanging good. The infinite continuity of good, of spiritual qualities. Nothing finite about them. In fact as there is no mortal mind we reflect infinity always. Limits don’t exist!

  6. These thoughts are so lovely to have been shared to all. Am trying to hold
a good thought for a friend in assisted living in Asheville where I’ve not been
able to reach her, with the intense rains they’ve had there. Knowing that her
infinity of Good reaches all and she was/is in God’s protection and care. She
has always done good for others, so it is only fitting – that she is rewarded
with God’s Love for her, as well.

  7. As you very well say Evan, our job and our joy is to live in the infinite. There’s no other place to be so comfortable and realized, but the realm of the infinite.
Thank you so much for this reflexion.

  8. Eckhart Tolle says “Live in the now”, but I definitely prefer living in the infinite!!! What an expansive all-inclusive idea!!! I love it!
