Stillpower versus willpower

Do you know the difference and why it matters?
Here’s an interesting article that explains how willpower gets in the way higher achievements.  It uses athletic analogies, but the rules can be applied to any aspect of life.

  1. The title alone is profound! Loved this! A great article to forward to friends/ family without being too preachy. The power of right thinking in sports. I know you’ve been in that zone of selfless tennis playing, Evan! Thanks for sharing this.

  2. Thanks Evan, this is a wonderful example of what MBE wrote about, “eternal stillness and immovable Love.” As well as, “stationary power, stillness, and strength;” in Retrospection. I’ve always loved hearing about the universality of Truth, which people the world over discover in so many different ways, on many different venues.

Thanks for sharing; as another commented, this will be great to share, a story to convey spiritual concepts, as did Jesus.
