The infinite universe

Click on the link below to gain a glimpse of how big the universe is that you live in.
When I was a kid, talk about the size of the universe wasn’t anything like it is today. With modern-day powerful telescopes, space travel and thinkers’ perspectives increasingly unbound by the fetters of the material senses, mankind sees further and further.
What used to appear to be end points and boundaries no longer exist. The eye sees further, the mind’s sense of possibility grows and more of the universe is discovered. This will continue forever because the universe is infinite. Space and time will melt into eternity and matter and limits will disappear from the scenario altogether.
There is no end to God.

  1. I love big giant thinking, Evan! Thanks for this: I remember reading once that if we understood how BIG (infinite) God is we would never stress about anything. God is”bigger” than matter in any form, in fact His allness eradicates the whole premise of matter and its accompaniments:sin, disease, war, etc. As I read your blog, the Scientific Statement of Being is ringing in my ears. Mary Baker Eddy was a Scientist of the highest order…plunging beneath the surface of matter (the words SHE uses to describe the thought process of Christ Jesus). Thanks Evan, love the way you go from such wonderful human events to teach spiritual lessons (like graduation and tennis!) to the profound (the infinite Universe!). Much love from one drenched Washingtonian to another (my back yard is under water!).

  2. Love viewing the infinitesimal of the universe. It reminds me of teaching the fourth graders the different views of the world they see through science. In introducing the biological body and its systems, I would present matter from four different views: the biologist, the physicist, the quantum physicist and the metaphysical view. I did this so they would see we have many options in how we choose to view what we see. Not one is the only way. Find your way. It worked well and led to some lively discussions. Appreciate the ease of your blogs. Sher

  3. It’s interesting to note that Albert Einstein mentioned of matter being non-existent by mathematics alone which corresponds to Mary Baker Eddy’s discovery of it through her spiritual understanding of the Bible.
