Many people in the world today believe the solution to the pandemic is getting people vaccinated. People who are not vaccinated are being blamed for the spread of infection.
However, there is a much deeper issue that needs to be admitted and addressed for the spread of infection to stop.
The effect of a vaccination is temporary and not always what a person had hoped for. The medical authorities readily admit the limits and vulnerabilities of the vaccines. These vaccines are simply the only option the matter-based thought is aware of to act on, so this option is pushed. And that is understandable.
But the real issue that needs to be addressed for a successful stoppage of infection, is fear of a virus. Fear is what spreads disease. Until the fear is eliminated, the threat of infection continues to take new forms, as seen with the delta variant.
Mary Baker Eddy, a very successful healer, understood the root cause of infection when she wrote, “The procuring cause and foundation of all sickness is fear, ignorance, or sin. Disease is always induced by a false sense mentally entertained, not destroyed”
(Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 411).
To stop infection, the fear of infection must stop. A false sense of security in taking a vaccine often allows fear to grow underneath the surface, and pop up later in more aggressive physical forms.
One can find the ultimate protection from infection in understanding the omnipotence and omnipresence of Love where fear dissolves and the threat of infection disappears.
With no mental infection, there is no physical infection.
To stop the pandemic, stop the fear!
Evan this is so helpful. Everything seems to come down to fear. In this week’s Lesson Sermon, also on page 411, Mrs Eddy says that allaying fear is the RULE of CS and this alleviates the symptoms of EVERY disease. We are exempt from disease and danger. Yes! We have almighty Truth to cast out fear. God, Love, is the creator of all. The Bible says “there is no fear in love” so there’s none in us. If “The depth, breadth, height, might, majesty, and glory of infinite Love fill all space.”(SH 520) as God told Mrs. Eddy, there’s absolutely nothing to fear! “A spiritual idea has not a single element of error. . .” (SH 463) We are precious ideas living and moving in the Mind of Love. We don’t have to fear what isn’t there to touch us –what Mind never made and never gave–Love is all that is touched, felt, known, breathed, seen, studied or broadcast. What can harm Love? What can Love harm? Harm never has and never will invade the kingdom of heaven within us (anymore than it could invade a symphony). Understanding this thoroughly will inoculate the world with Truth, and waken mankind from this dream experience.

Boy, I am printing this one! As many of us say, this message is just what I needed today. New push back and begging for me to become vaccinated has surfaced in the area I live from some of my closest friends, I have been newly uninvited from a wedding shower and wedding, from entering homes, riding in the same car as others and it goes on. I know it is panic, fear and blame. This week I was sorely tested mentally to ask God if I was doing the right thing for the good of the whole. This has given me refreshed thinking to know that this is not person, place or thing, but wide spread human mesmerism to see through, and that I, and all, are cherished children of God and Love will lead the way. God is my life, I am encircled by Love’s omnipresence and omnipotence, and I must listen intently to His message, moment by moment. Thank you Evan for this support.

I was easily able to get the one time Johnson vaccine shot. I did it to calm and express love to all my friends and be able to attend our functions with no fear. This is a world wide material belief.

I am also very grateful thank you Evan and every one else. It is nice to know one is not alone in not wanting not to be pushed into having a vaccine because of Fear. Whether it is fear of being sick or fear of not being able to travel or fear of missing out on social engagements we must know the Truth instead. So I really appreciate all of you that help with ideas. I am trying to work on Unity and knowing that my freedom and all that I have that is good cannot be taken nor lost. That human plans come to naught and no one can turn God/Good’s hand. Blessings.
I think when we have most solid in thought that there is only God and Man all harmonious that there won’t be any occasion to experience any fall out whether to get or not to get vaccinated.
Look at the radical stand for good and healing sense that Jesus and Mrs. Eddy had to take to overcome the human situations/problems in their times.
They are our examples, they overcame error with its many faces, so, we can too! Much thanks and love to you all.
The question comes to me if we get caught up in the physical interpretation for our only source of legitimate source for comprehending scientific investigation what are we then giving up? Mary Baker Eddy challenged our abilities for the scientific method by recognizing the value of discovering truth in our experience. If we limit truth to our physical experience and we quarantine any thought which extends beyond it, them we limited our ability to discover truth and will suffer for it. We must not ignore that truth is the spiritual principle for which we seek to understand our human experience. without we cannot see beyond that human experience. The world is full of this example for discovery of new ideas and concept where truth is comprehended and utilized to expand human interaction.
My LOVE for Spirit View and all you share is amplified with this entry today Evan. I was eager to share with my daughter who is raising two young boys at this time. She had gratitude reading this as she continues to lead a joy filled life with her sons.

there seems to be this underlying error behind all of this and that is what really needs
to be healed. It is little by little coming to the surface, despite all of the attempts to
squelch it. Worldwide people are searching for the Truth of the situation and not
wanting to accept the oppression of matter’s stronghold that seems to be so
prevalent in thinking today. I am so grateful for the expressions of True Being,
here today and everyday these Truths are shared, both writtenly and mentally.

A bit of a detour to yesterday’s topic, I want to thank Barbara for her late post of notes from Mary Baker Eddy’s class of 1898. Part of a quote from MBE I find so beautiful…”We are alive in infinite Love. The more we understand the infinity of Soul the more do we understand the divine fullness of our own Being…..and the more do we find our present conscious experience beautiful, effortless, versatile, and rhythmic.”….. “The primal Cause has no knowledge of anything but itself.”
What a Christly model our dear leader was and is to her students, -her influence still guiding our consciousness to stay poised in spiritual sense,- and to claim our divine right to demonstrate the richness of this sense in our everyday experience. What a great blessing to have her example!
…coming only just now to yesterday’s postings, Linda, and appreciating your beautiful lines so
very much. Our Leader’s introductory words were, “This opportunity is designed to impart a
fresh impulse to our spiritual attainments, the great need of which I daily discern. I have
awaited the right hour, and to be called of God to contribute my part towards this result.”
The “fresh impulse” words may relate to her discovery that some practitioners were announcing themselves as capable of entering patients’ minds to “change things around” and this personal sense was fully “understood” by the patient. So there was in effect ‘mental science’ masquerading as Christian Science Mind-healing. How beautifully Divine Love gently dissolved the possibility of any existing “personal” sense. “I know you not.”
It then followed that the very next edition of Science and Health in 1902 contained the words “the human mind and body are myths.” (150 :32-1).
