The Seventh Day

Do you live in the seventh day or the first day of creation?
To live in “the first day,” is to accept the premise that there is still a whole lot of creating that needs to happen before creation is complete.  It implies lack, incompleteness, more work to be done and lots of effort to be exerted before the fullness of God’s blessings can be realized.
To live “in the seventh day,” is to understand the completeness of God’s creation and enjoy its benefits now, today!
It states in Genesis, the book on creation in the Bible,
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made” (Gen 2:1-2).
We are in the seventh day right now. God’s work is done.  It is complete.  All of God’s blessings and abundance is already at hand, ready to be experienced, accepted and benefited from.
Are you enjoying the benefits?  Have you accepted the gift?  If not, perhaps you’re seeing yourself in the first, second, third, or earlier days when creation is still yet to be fully revealed.
God’s creation is fully revealed today in divine Science.  Truth has fully explained itself through the teachings of the Comforter, and has revealed to humanity in our time that God’s creation is already done.  It is complete, and you are a part of it!
Live in the seventh day! It’s a whole lot more fun and blessed.  There is no lack there, only abundance, supply, health, and fullness of life.

  1. Thanks for this new insight (to me), Evan! I always read and so appreciate your sharings. I’ve even forwarded many on to others and know many of them now subscribe (non church members too)!

  2. Thank you for reminding. I think this is comparable with the “three stairs” or levels, which are explained in “S&H” on page 115. We live in the absolute third – spiritual – level and have to understand it, and from there the relative 2nd one will be enlightened.
