What are you doing?

Always do right;
 This will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

  1. This leads me to ask the question about work and play. I understand the concept of “praying without ceasing” that Mrs.Eddy talks about, which comes from the bible. (I interpret this as being spiritualy “on the ball”, and continually monitoring and adusting thought as necessary during our waking hours, moments(which should not be a chore by the way).BUT, I am wondering about doing our human work that we need to do each day and the need for balance and the seeming need to do fun things. This must be alright too right? As long as we dont over do it in the “entertainment” area of our lives…but is in good proportion related to our human work(a job, cleaning the house, planning for a trip,etc).

  2. I recently read somewhere: If you aren’t having fun being a Christian Scientist, you’re not doing it right! It’s not all work and no play! We take our improved understanding into work and play, and have fun in both arenas! Putting God first always brings joy and lightness and fun into our lives. Evan, you are a perfect example of this!
