Material sense sees matter.
Spiritual sense sees Spirit.
Material sense sees lack.
Spiritual sense sees abundance.
Material sense sees disease.
Spiritual sense sees health.
Material sense sees evil.
Spiritual sense sees good.
Which sense are you listening to?
I’m all ears! Oh, what a Beautiful Morning is a grandeous songfor the day!
Spiritual sense it is!!!!!!
Spiritual sense sees what God sees..
Good point. It puts things in perspective.
Perfect comment Josef!
Thank you Evan. I really enjoyed your post today!
In God we live and move And have our being
The material sense turns things into objects. Objectifying matter – the
five material senses can be wrong in so many ways. Spiritual sense is
freeing and uplifting …. away from the limiting old way of thinking.
I see…
Science | Salvation | Supreme
Eternity | Empathy | Endurance
Excellence | Enterprise | Expression
I choose Spiritual Sense. Spiritual Sense sees only Truth, spiritual reality. It is, as John says above, seeing what God sees. If I want to know how and what God sees, I can study/learn more about His viewpoint through all that CS offers (S&H, Bible lesson, Daily Lift, articles, lectures, Sentinel Watch podcasts, etc).
I once heard a lecturer say it so simply when explaining why she chooses God’s way in any issue that may arise in daily life, she said, – “God, your way is better.”
Also thanks again to DKM for sharing with us the link to the Dave Hohle discussion about divine supply on yesterday’s SV. I left a more detailed thank you/comment late in the day. If anyone missed it, highly recommended. It blew my mind (blew mortal mind to pieces).
I really enjoyed that too Rose and thank you to DKM. Often times when I listen to the Sentinel Watch podcasts, it seems when a healing is described the host will exclaim “WOW!” like it’s unusual for someone to be healed via CS these days. Therefore, I really appreciated Dave Hohle’s attitude becomes he seemed so confident in God’s law being in operation.
Given the subject of the lesson this week and on the topic of having confidence in the certainty of Christian Science, below a link to an interview with Evan on Animal Magnetism. This has both a printed summary and a link to the podcast and I highly recommend clicking on the button to listen to the podcast because the printed version leaves out some content. Towards the end of the podcast Evan describes how he was praying about something and getting no results and he’s confused as to why he’s getting no results (as if to imply “I always get results from my prayers!”) and then he realizes he needs to pray more broadly about there being no such thing as evil and he gets quick results when he does that. I just thought that was so helpful. The entire interview is awesome!

It occurred to me that the shared link to the print article might not allow people without a subscription to JSH Online to access the podcast. So here’s a direct shared link to the podcast that should allow everyone to access it.

Thanks for this RobertH… I had bookmarked it and listen to it often. I believe both links you shared are the same. Here’s the link that should open for all.

PS I’m so grateful For the inspiration to share the Sentinel Watch from Dave Hohle and that it’s helping so many! It has helped me immensely through several job searches since it first aired. Most recently after being downsized out of a large corporation after 12 years, I was “unemployed” since a year ago February for what became nine months. But I was employed the whole time, calmly learning more and more about my relationship with God, and this article was a great help, as were citations that I was inspired to compile from Concord. I was never afraid and never anxious about finding employment. And my next role unfolded beautifully, and in, I never could’ve outlined myself and at a time in my life when many would have said I could just “retire“– – I work now for another major corporation in a more senior role and I’m so very grateful to be expressing all the qualities of God, Good—my only purpose— in that place. It truly is God who is doing this work and I get to watch it unfold!

Thanks a lot, dear J; it’s a wonderful and healing article! ❤️
This is very helpful! Thank you. We want to see what God sees; only good.

Dear Evan, thanks a lot for your today’s SpiritView ! You are right what you said in your lectures, that everybody has Spiritual Sense because we reflect it naturally as God’s spiritual child, wow, comforting and wonderful! I’m eargerly choosing spiritual sense, as I actually cannot else but choose what is given us from God to express , though sometimes it doesn’t look so clear! But, I think we can always trust God’s loving and safe guidance!♡
