So, whose thought are you anyway?
Are you a product of the human mind or the divine Mind?
Are you a product of your own making? Or is there a higher power at work in your life forming and shaping your identity and individuality?
For the student of Science, these are important questions to ask and answer aright.
If we believe ourselves to be the outcome of our own thinking, God is left out of the picture. We’ve become a god unto ourselves. God, divine Mind, becomes irrelevant.
If we see God as the sole creator of our being, then the human mind is not a factor. The divine Mind reigns supreme and is honored as Commander-in-Chief.
So, who is your Commander-in-Chief today, the human mind or the divine Mind?
“The divine Mind that made man maintains His own image and likeness. The human mind is opposed to God and must be put off, as St. Paul declares. All that really exists is the divine Mind and its idea, and in this Mind the entire being is found harmonious and eternal.”
~Mary Baker Eddy
