That is so true, thank you for the reminder.
Good way to put it!
First thought came at just the right moment, “always be prepared to give a warm smile first”. We extend ourselves starting at that point, blessing all present. Giving of ourselves, without limits, gets us sooooo much further. Dissolves unspoken tensions. Practice, practice, practice !

Thank you for your posting today. In my heart of hearts I really prefer the King James version. I do know it’s the spiritual meaning that counts.
I feel the same way about the kjv.
It’s the primary translation Mrs Eddy used in writing the textbook, and it lends itself to the highest inspiration when used in conjunction with Science and Health.
Thank you for this reminder. Where I used to live, there seemed to be very
troubling neighbors, with a very macho and abusive father, and it was extremely
difficult overcoming those challenges. I tried sending flowers from my garden,
over to the mother through the teenage sons, tried sending over cookies (to the
sneers of one of my friends, who laughed that that would never work) and nothing
seemed to help. But through consistent prayers in trying to see them all, including
the father, who seemed to be the main culprit, as children of God .. they eventually
moved right before I did. One wonderful awakening to a turnaround occurred one
early morning when I heard scraping noises outside and the three boys were out there
shoveling my driveway after a snowstorm, which was such a lovely expression of
love reflected in love. Love is always the answer, even though sometimes it takes
persistence with error who tries and seems so powerful at times.

I had an experience once during a snowstorm. I was quietly reading spiritual thoughts
and heard a car trying and trying to get up a steep hill near where I was living. It was
before cellphones were as popular and the zone was not conducive to good reception
at the time. After many failed attempts, I walked down to the main road to see if the
person wanted me to call a tow truck, as she kept getting stuck. As we were talking
and she was at that point, right in the middle of the road, a car came sliding down the
hill directly towards her and in no way could stop. He had the choice of either hitting
her car directly or veering off to the side of the road and over an embankment which
he chose to do. I climbed down the ravine to see that he was alright and help him
out of his car and we both saw the girl then find the momentum to get her car up the
hill and took off, without a thought if he was alright or not. My thought was to
condemn that behavior, but knew that was not how I should be thinking towards her.
The young gentleman thankfully was alright and after calming down, warming up,
called a friend who in a while, was able to come and pick him up and the following
day a tow truck was able to get his car out of the ravine. I was so grateful that he
was not hurt and my neighborly gesture, he appreciated very much.
God is our protector and I am so glad I was able to help and be there when needed.

Thank you Evan and all. I am glad to read this message as I have been endeavoring to see my neighbors in their true light as perfect ideas of God and to see myself the same way. To remember that we are all equally under His direct direction, guidance, influence and loving care, and we cannot harm or disturb each other but can only be a blessing to each other. Also need to look at how I can be a better neighbor, not only think of how they can be better. I can start by praying for and blessing them more.
