If God doesn’t have it, you don’t have it.
If God has it, you reflect it!
And what a beautiful sight this reflection is.

The picture says it all! Thanks so much, Evan. Just what I need this morning ❤️
Perfect ! Love that!
Amen!
Years ago friends attending a Babtist Church shared this incident. Their minIsrer asked the little children gathered at his feet prior to leaving the congregation for Sunday School What do you know about God? A little red haired freckled faced boy waved his hands happily and replied, ” I know! I know! God is dog spelled backwards!” The congregation roared with laughter.
As a new student of Christian Science at that time this story made me think about these words:from the Lord’s Prayer :
.” And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.
And Love is reflected in love;
” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy page 17)
Thank you Evan for this Spirit View as a reminder as a dog lover of the ever-present of God’ Love always present ! Lovingly in appreciation, Nancy from Indiana
Elegant, thank you
Perfection is succinct
I heard, if God didn’t say it , it hasn’t been said.
If God hasn’t done it, it hasn’t been done.
I always loved dog spelled backwards is God.
Love the picture.
Happy God day.
Love this Evan. I knew it as , if God didn’t say it , it hasn’t been said.
If God didn’t do it, it hasn’t been done.
I always loved dog spelled backwards is God.
Love the picture.
Happy God day.
Sorry.
God didn’t do hat
I kept getting, fix …
Very sorry Evan and everyone.

you know”

Thank you all, thank you Evan for the source of inspiration you
Share.
Many times I tell my people at church, if only I have 10%
Of my dog’s Love, I will be satisfied .
Simple yet profound Evan, thank you!
And thanks to all for your contributions. ❣️
I love this, thank you Evan! Will declare this all day.
Thank you for this beautiful picture of reflection.
Such a sweet photo and Truthful message and corresponding comments!
Thank you All. I love dogs and like God’s Love …their love is unconditional
and so genuine and expressed with such gentleness and caring.
I’m not sure who authored this, but thought it fits in with the topic,
“Like water which can clearly mirror the sky and the trees (and pup, like
in the photo above) … only so long as its surface is undisturbed, the mind
can only reflect the true image of the self, when it is tranquil and wholly
relaxed”. Our reflection of Mind/God is always in perfect clarity, like the
sun is always shining, even if mortal clouds or night seem to darken our
perspective.

Excerpt: “Whenever, therefore, anything presents itself to a Christian Scientist, immediately he measures it by the standard of perfection which is God, and if it fails to measure up to that standard, it is known to be un-Godlike; and if un-Godlike, not eternal; and if not eternal, not real.”

Thank you J for sharing these articles. I appreciate the time you take in researching, selecting and posting these, to lovingly aid us in our growth and understanding of CS. That activity is an expression of God’s image at work.
Aww, thank you Rose for your very kind words. And right back at you for your contributions to SV, which are very much appreciated. It’s wonderful that Evan has given us the gift of SV where we can all gather and learn.
Thank you, Evan and everyone. I was pondering the thought of
eternity and how our reflection is derived from God’s perfection…
spiritual and lovely. This below quote from George Bernard Shaw
describes how we reflect God’s ideas and are not limited to a
mortal being. It says:
“If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these
apples – then you and I will still each have One apple. But if you
have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then
each of us with have Two ideas”.
It can also be looked at, as – if I give you my apple, you would have
two apples, but I would have none. But with expressions (ideas) from
God, there is an unlimited amount of ideas that can be expressed because
we reflect God’s Goodness and qualities that are endless in thought.
Love the apple/ idea analogy Angel. Thanks!
Thank you Angel. Your comment reminded me of a thought I’ve prayed with, basically that since all of us are ideas of God – infinite, eternal, good, we cannot harm or disturb each other in any way, and actually can only be a blessing to each other. Think of a number, say the number is 2. Numbers are ideas. Can the number 2 have a conflict with or cause harm to 3 or 7 or 153 ? Of course not, they operate as harmonious ideas under the principle of mathematics. We operate as harmonious ideas under the Principle of the One Mind, God.
Thanks Evan for this post & beautiful picture
