Take the fear out of fear

January 14, 2026 | 17 comments

Are you successful at mastering fear?

The love of God is present to neutralize fear and render it harmless, teaching us that fear is not an imperative emotion we need to serve.

In this vlog I explain how to take fear away from fear and live free of its influence.

This video was filmed in Glacier National Park, Montana, when Kathy and I visited the area in August 2025.

  1. You and Kathy share with us some spectacular places in God’s beautiful
world, Evan. Thank you so much for taking us along on your journey
through life to these wonderful sights and heights through Spirit View.
Along the path, it sometimes can be very scary, as you illustrated on
your hike and fear can often seem very real, but as you mentioned,
the love of God is always present with us to neutralize the fear and
    render it harmless.
Thank you again for this Beautiful View!

  2. What beautiful scenery, Evan. and a beautiful message. Thank you.

I wish I had known about Christian Science
earlier in my life. I remember when I was on
holiday one year with my husband climbing to
the top of a lighthouse. When I had to descend,
I looked down and was petrified to move. There
were just the small rungs going straight down for
such a long, long way. I took each step in fear
and trembling, and I was so relieved when I got
to the bottom. What a boon is Christian Science
that can remove all fear from us in any circumstance
and enable us to enjoy everything freely.

Mrs. Eddy talks about a man called Blondin, I think,
who walked a tightrope over a canyon – I can’t remember which one. She said that if he had had any
fear he could not have done it.

Here is a link to a relevant article on not fearing fear.

    1. Thank you so much, Maggie, for sharing the Dee Lewis article–I have kept the audio of it ever since first hearing it. It is so helpful in conquering fear. And our Evan does the same with his loving Spiritview messages to all of us. What a blessing!

    2. Dear Maggie, I’m joyfully overwhelmed by this so lovingly and clearly read article by Carol Dee Lewis. It’s a Keeper and a must for all SpiritView friends to listen to or read this article. It ecplains so clear that in the allness of divine Love there is no fear.
Thank you dearly for it Maggie! ❤️

Thank you dear Evan for your Vlog explaining there is no need for fear of any kind! That toppic is so important for our healing work for us! Your Vlog today was short but very profound!
In such beautiful places you and Kathy are always hiking and taking us with you – thank you very much! ❤️

    1. Thank you dear J for this very comforting and healing article. This article as wonderful and so lovingly read by the author as the article given us by Maggie here today. it’s very worth listening to it or reading it.
Janet Clements points out that we are all so embraced in Love that there can’t be any fear. ALL space is filled with divine Love. Oh so comforting. Thanks to our dear God!

  3. Blondin walked over Niagara Falls on a tightrope.
It seems we often walk a tightrope and let fear command our sense of whether the experience will be a good one or not. Christian Science on the other hand teaches us that all experiences have already taken place in Dine Mind and our duty is just to fully enjoy them trusting God that he only channels good to his children. Thanks be to God and all of you for the truths expressed here daily.

  4. The lecture by Dee Lewis given by link in today’s SV is one of the best CS treatments I have ever heard. And the article by Janet Clements ties in to the subject of today’s SV so well. I am grateful beyond words for today’s SV. Thank you.

  5. Thank you, Evan. I’ve been having some issues with fear creeping into situations, and I failed to recognize it for “false evidence appearing real.” This is a good reminder.
Also, I was listening to a comedy the other night and at one point someone is held at gunpoint; another character comes along, takes the gun, and says “It isn’t loaded.” The character who had been held in place by fear of the gun said, “Not loaded? Why was I scared?”
Suddenly, the thought came: fear is never loaded.
Your vlog supported my thoughts along that line.

  6. Evan, loved what you said, that I can “let God do my thinking for me.” Humanly we like to think we are in charge of our thoughts and our “mind.” But that so-called mind, mortal mind, is usually full of fear and other wrong beliefs, causing misery. There is only one Mind, God, not many minds. So yes, I can recognize that God is doing my thinking for me, And it’s all good.
