A man was telling me how hard his life was. Everything he did felt like a burden to him.
“You need a new outlook on life,” I told him. I mentioned that he was seeing himself as a mortal running around doing material things that exhausted his energy and left him feeling drained at the end of the day. He agreed.
I reminded him that as a child of God, he is not a mortal relying upon limited resources to do his work. He is an immortal reflecting the infinite possibilities of God, as written in Genesis, chapter one, where it is recorded that God made man in the divine image, an image that reflects the original.
“It’s easy to be a reflection!” I told him. “As a reflection, God is constantly giving you the energy, strength and inspiration you need to excel. It keeps coming to you without limit. Life is a joy to live as reflection,” I added.
“On the other hand, it’s hard to be a mortal,” I explain. “Mortals think they work on their own, have finite resources to rely upon, and have limited time and energy to accomplish tasks. It’s not an enjoyable way to think and live. It’s much easier to be God’s reflection!” I share with joy.
He understands the message, has a change of heart, and starts focusing on being God’s reflection. Life gets much easier for him.
It’s easy to be God’s reflection. Try it. You’ll like it.
Good morning. Thank you Evan for this powerful, eye opening message! I am grateful for this Truth and will actively embrace it.
Wonderful!
Thank you for this Evan, “As a reflection, God is constantly giving you the energy, strength and inspiration you need to excel. It keeps coming to you without limit. Life is a joy to live as reflection,”
Nancy.
Evan, thank you so much for this beautiful reminder that we always have been and always will be God’s reflection. It certainly is spiritual wisdom to remember to live as God’s reflection.
Much love to all.
