The best life now

August 27, 2026 | 9 comments

When you understand that God is your Life, you begin to realize that you have the best life now to experience.  It’s a Life of boundless joy, endless health, eternal life, all yours here and now.

If you think differently, you’re looking at life from a material point of view.  Matter is finite, temporal, limited in all ways.  A depressing perspective to entertain.

For better results, change your perspective.  See Life in Spirit rather than in matter, and you begin to experience the Best Life now.

Mary Baker Eddy writes, “Life is eternal. We should find this out, and begin the demonstration thereof. Life and goodness are immortal. Let us then shape our views of existence into loveliness, freshness, and continuity, rather than into age and blight” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 246).

This Life eternal is our spiritual Life with God.  It’s ours to claim and experience now.  It doesn’t get any better than that.

  1. Thank you Evan. As I was getting washed and dressed this morning a message came it said “Do you depend on your material body for your life?”
So I answered “No, God is my life!”
Your message reinforces that ! Thank you x

  2. What a sweet photo to reinforce the endearing message above! (Ramona –
I don’t understand your language, but do love “postagem” which I can see
from it – post a gem”. This truly is a gem posted which shines with brilliance
and inspiration.) At this time of year, the flowers are blooming with such
cheer and mostly sunshine yellow. They can only be created by God’s
perfect Love for us. Mankind can not create the petals, color, etc. that the
flowers reflect. Only God’s eternal perfection is in control of that. Like the
dear photo above, God is like a father to us, sharing Love, guidance, protection
from harm and His gentle Love holds our hand throughout our lives, no matter
what we seem to be confronted with. What a comforting thought to hold on to.

    1. Thank you for sharing the link, J. I love the thought that “God’s thoughts are always there for you!” And I love the tapestry of Love and Truth that weaves these “conversations” together, bringing warmth and beauty to help us live our “best life now!”. Thank you Evan for today’s inspiration!

    2. Thank you very very much , dear Evan for the daily spiritual bread you give us so lovingly and steadily. It’s always so needed.

dear. J. the article by Barbara Vining about “God’s healing thoughts” is so good and needed. I listened to it at midnight and it gave me very much. It says there that not we have the thoughts, rather the right and healing thoughts come to us from God. There is a wonderful surety in it that God is a l l. and always with us leading us.
I’m so grateful and glad to get this healing SpiritView and all the wonderful comments and articles everyday – thank you dearly, SV friends!
