Doing good coupled with spiritual understanding is what makes that good that you do successful.
In New Testament writings the word ‘heart’ is commonly used to denote the inner nature of man; the secret core of his being; the source of all good and evil in men’s lives. Even in the Old Testament it is written … “Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life” (Proverbs 4:23). We are advised to watch over our inner thoughts and feelings.
