  1. Thank you for your lovely New Year blessing Evan. I too send all good thoughts to you and Kathy and to all the SV family. I look forward to more wonderful blogs, vlogs and comments over the coming year. The support I have received from them each day has been more helpful than I can say. Thank you all. Xx

  2. Thank you so much, Evan, for your New Year greeting, and for all the wonderful ideas that you have posted this past year. A very happy New Year to you and your family, and to all the SV family.

  3. Thank you dear Evan and Kathy for this wonderful Spirit View platform where we can share ideas from God. I have learned so much from your Blogs/Vlogs … and feel truly blessed.
Cherishing you and our Spirit View family in Love and true brotherliness to trust how God is unfolding His Plan for us all.

  4. “Behold, I make all things new.” It is a promise straight from the heart of divine Love, Truth and Life.
And we are asked to “behold”this promise. Meaning to cherish it sacredly and with humility. Because the “I” is God.

Thank you Evan for these Spirit View blogs!

  5. To all of the Spirit View family and its dear originator, may you all feel the joy, comfort, peace and love of the Christ everyday of each year! Have an inspired 2021.

  6. The New Year is a good reminder for us to have new views of reality, new aims and purposes,
entertain all the new and fresh thoughts that come to us from God, and new resolutions to
put them into practice, that we may see the unfoldment of the “new heaven and the new earth” revealed to us by St. John in the book of Revelation. It is also good to remember that nothing is
new to God – He is feeding us all with new and fresh bread from heaven every day.

Many thanks to you, Evan, for these daily inspirations, and I wish you and everyone a very happy
    New Year.

  12. Just wanted to share this poem, popularly known as ‘,The Gate of the Year’ quoted by King George VI in his Christmas address to the British people in the early days of the war in 1939:

“And I said to the man who stood at the gate of the year:
“Give me a light that I may tread safely into the unknown.”
    And he replied:
“Go out into the darkness and put your hand into the Hand of God.
That shall be to you better than light and safer than a known way.”
So I went forth, and finding the Hand of God, trod gladly into the night.
And He led me towards the hills and the breaking of day in the lone East.”
My Dad always used to quote it at our first Testimony meeting of the year.

    1. Thank you so much, Linda! Such strengthening and inspiring words for today and the days ahead. Much needed!

    2. Thanks LInda for posting this poem. Enjoyed hearing it again; timeless, comforting and powerful.

Found some Bible quotes on NEWNESS for the New Year:
“…old things are passed away, all things become as new.” (2 Corin 5:17)
“For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.” (Isaiah 65:17)
“Remember ye not the former things….Behold I will do a new thing.” (Isaiah 43:18-19)
“…put off…the old man…and be renewed in the spirit of your mind and put on the new man which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.” (Ephesians 4:22-24)

  13. Thank you Evan for your clear messages of the universal Truth of God’s unconditional love and our innate spiritual sense. Your ability to point out a Truth in an inter-faith manner makes sharing Spiritview easy, which I do with my grown children! I really appreciate and read Spiritview each morning.
Happy New Year to you and your family

  14. Happy New Year Evan, Kathy, and all Spiritview readers. This blog is a daily blessing which I appreciate. Linda, thank you for sharing the poem “The Gate of the Year”. Each reader of this blog contributes wonderful uplifting thoughts in their comments.

How great a foundation for the beginning of the new year. Blessings to share from the world over.
    Everyone having the same Mind.
So great a gift of unselfed love and kindness. Healing messages.
Psalms 133:1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethern to dwell together in unity!
Psalms 90:1 Lord, Thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.
Section 3, from our Quartely Lesson Study Sermon for this week.
There is unity here. And as we all are dwelling in this same spiritual Mind, together we are accomplishing many good things. We are family!
Each thought reveals that hand of God dear Linda. A wonderful poem from a very troubled time.
And the Sentinal articles so very well researched.
This is an advanced school filled with the substance we need to dwell together in harmony.
For everyone in this whole world! The Christ is here!
Thank you all so very much for your New Year Wishes.
Happy New Year from Michigan, USA.

  18. We are all so blessed, dear Spirit View family to have such a wonderful place, here, to call home. The nourishment of thoughts nurture our soul with such encouragement and Love.
Thank you, Evan, for bringing us altogether in this most helpful venue where thoughts gather and bloom into such a beautiful bouquet of hope, caring and sharing.

  19. I look forward to another year with SpiritView and all who come here. I have gratitude for Evan and you deep thinkers who give me much inspiration and guide my thoughts daily,
I pray for unity around the world and for the calm reassurance we receive understanding TRUTH.
Because I live on a small island, at times I feel isolated and yearn for fellowship with other Christian Scientists; another reason I am so grateful for Spirit View. We carry on with God at the helm and deep LOVE surrounding us all.

  20. Thank you Evan, may the New Year bring you happiness and lots of hikes to places that inspire all of us who follow you on Spirit View.

  24. Yesterday’s blog continues to be with me this morning.”Boarding a flight for the New Year”.
I sent it to family and to neighbors who loved it. Will send it to my Toastmasters club as our inspiration for our next meeting. Also will translate it into French for my French family in France and my local French meetup group.
Thank you Evan for your continuous love that pours out to us each day.

    1. Thank YOU, Evan and your wonderful Kathy! What a blessing you bring and help us unfold.
Much love to you both, and to All!

  25. So very grateful for Spirit View and all that goes into it by you, Evan and Kathy! It is a gift to all of us! Thank you and happy new year to the whole SV family!

  26. Oh thank you very much dear Evan. All your loving wishes are my deep desire for this coming year. And I also wish for me that I may be more orderly in my household. But as we know is orderlyness also a precious quality of God. Most desirable is joy and spiritual progress. And Mrs. Eddy says in SH, that progress is a law of God, and a law of God is firm and secure. That is comforting for me.
A very blessed and joyful, happy new year to you, Evan and to your dear family and to the SpiritView Team and to all SpiritView Friends – with love !!! ♡♡♡

    1. Uta, I related to what you said about praying to be more orderly in your household. I too have that challenge and it is comforting to know that that order and balance and harmony are God given qualities that we can claim — that we cannot be without. All the best to you.

  27. Thank you, Evan, for Spirit View and to all who contribute such enlightened conversation. Happy New Year to all! Love from Sandra in British Columbia.

Each person’s comments are from the heart and that is so gratefully received. Hope, and know, everyone will have a joy-filled 2021!

  30. I have been following Spiritview for quite awhile now but haven’t made any comments. However felt I should thank you Evan for wishing us “health that sticks” I laughed out loud and said “how true.” as I know how often it seems to want to slide off.. I am going to go into this new year knowing that my health is GOOD and will stick.
Thank you all on this site for sharing , you are a blessing.

  31. Thank you Evan for the New year blessing and to dear Kathy who takes thE VIDEOS SHE TAKES when on hikes. Love to all your FAMILY AND SV FAMILY. A DAILY BLESSINGTO US ALL.

Evan, I love to listen to you read your articles, speak on Sentinel Watch. and in the Vlogs. I also listened again to the Christmas lecture “The Gift of Healing” and appreciate the meaning and thoughts it brings out, The attitude and altitude you express is so from God!!
Thank you for all you do.
I, too, look forward to 2021 and expect growth in Christian Science to be the crowning glory.

  35. Thanks to Evan, and all of the Spiritview family for all of the daily inspiration!
    Happy New Year,everyone!

  36. Evan, Happy New Year to you and yours! Thanks for today’s message, I loved “a Joy you can count on.” This is different from material joys that seem to come and go; true Joy in God, from God, does not ebb and flow but is a constant to those who have eyes to see and ears to hear –and we all do — it’s called Spiritual Sense. I love you all, let’s step into the New Year continuing together in our expanding walk with God. All blessings!

      1. Thank you Uta. I enjoyed your comment as well. I also pray to be more orderly in my home, this has been a longtime challenge. It’s good to know, as you say, that Order is a spiritual quality, so we can claim it and express it as God’s Child, also Balance and Harmony, a place for every thing and everything in it’s right place, All the best to you.

        1. Wow dear Rose, thanks so much for your wonderfully uplifting reply up.here, am very grateful for it. It has also been a long time challenge to me. So I really have to pray to know that as expression of God I naturelly reflect orderlyness. To know that through CS is comforting for me.

  37. Thank you, Evan, for all you give and share each day!
Happy New Year to you and your family, and to all.

  38. My sincere thanks to you, Evan, and to each and everyone who contributes to the general welfare of us all. Blessings and a Joyous New Year to all!
