A perspective to consider

May 21, 2019 | 16 comments

To one struggling with remorse about past unhappy events in her life, the question was posed, “When you pass on and leave this earth behind, what is going to matter to you?”

And the reply that followed was, “Only what lies ahead of you.”

We’re living our eternal spiritual life now. The past doesn’t govern the present, and it’s all good coming our way.

Are you looking at what lies in front of you?

  1. Thank you Evan for this comforting observation. SH 282:14 – “A straight line finds no abiding-place in a curve, and a curve finds no adjustment to a straight line.” Thankfully Spirit is the only Reality.

  2. Another wonderful sharing to wrap up in and let it hug me. Thank you thank you thank you! As always, another healing thought to see my fellow man in and to hold my fellow man in.

  3. Hmmn.. as I consider how I pass out of this (moment in space and time) and move into the next..I am again in the now and all is well and only Good lies ahead.. and here I am again.. seedtime and harvest… seedtime and harvest..
Great morning exercise to get the momentum going! Thanks Evan!

  4. Life is continuous. The only things of value we can take with us on our journey on is found in the principle of being and its associated attributes reflecting our true identity in that light. Thank you Evan for this inspired view of life.

  5. “I forgive all my yesterday’s visions unclear, And hear my God telling me Child you are dear.” (Self-forgiveness, by Ginny Luedeman)
I have no visions of what’s to come, but just trust it to God. I’m living in the now with my
Father-Mother, God, as my constant guide and companion.

  6. I think there may be something not quite right with the print button. It was a different color but it printed everything instead of just the posting.

    1. Nadine, I experienced the same thing. I hope they can get it back to the way it was. If there were comments I wanted to print I just copied and pasted them in Word, otherwise just too many pages sometimes. (=

  7. Evan I always look forward to reading my emails from you
    Thank you for sending them

  8. A wonderful practitioner friend once told me that we can’t drive the car by looking in the rear view mirror.
