Be a “have”

June 3, 2024 | 24 comments

Are you a have or a have not?

Some people spend a lot of time thinking about what they don’t have.  I don’t have enough money.  I don’t have enough friends.  I don’t have enough time, the “have not” way of thinking argues on.

The happier and healthier way to live is to focus on everything you have.  You always have God.

Because of God, you have an all-knowing, all-wise Mind to feed you helpful ideas that lead you down progressive paths.

You have Love without limit to express in your daily routine which builds fruitful relations with others.

You have Spirit empowering every step you take and every breath you make.

You have health without limit flooding into your being from Spirit that keeps you healthy and strong.

You have spiritual truth to conquer any lie coming your way.

You have a wonderful spiritual Life to be living that no one can take away from you.

You have all the goodness of God built into your being as a child of God to live out every day.

You have everything you need coming from Spirit to live with joy.

When you focus on what you have, you see what you have.  You’re not a “have not” anymore.  You’re a have.

I highly recommend being a “have.”  It’s a happy way to live.

  1. what a marvellous life we have. what a joy !!!
thank you so much for these wonderful thoughts. I am going to live today with all of them. thank you so much.

  2. Thanks Evan:
Thanking on all i have this morning makes me forget on the materials that i seeminly don’t
    have.

  3. Your message is powerfully worded to start every day!
Thank you for sharing this message and may we all have a blessed day feeling Divine Love’s presence and power

  4. Love the way you worked through the synonyms to establish the basis for being a “have!” Thanks so much Evan.

  5. I am a “have.” I declare that we are all “haves.” We have God, the one divine Mind as our Mind so we have all we need and more every moment. Psalms 84:11 “No good thing will he withhold from those who walk along his paths.”

  6. The joyous smile and delightful message is a wonderful way to start the day.
Thank you so much SpiritViewers! What a blessing!
Such gratitude we have to share for all that we have. I am reminded of a
plant/flower ad I had received on my computer yesterday where it was
appreciating the symbiotic relationship with flowers and bees and how
they need each other. The bee Has nourishment and sustenance from the
flower, giving it strength and support as it goes about its journey. The flower
needs the bee to flourish and shine in all it’s glory. It is like God, isn’t it? –
where we, too, have this lovely connection with our perfect being – reflecting
all that God provides us with – everything we need as Evan mentions above.
“The loveliness of Love is all around.” : )

  7. Thank you so much for today’s Spirit View Evan and to all for the the postings. As I read/studied the Christian Science Bible Lesson for this week titled “God the Only Cause and Creator” to me it certainly tells us all of the things we all have as ideas, creations of God. We are His reflection and by reflection we have all the attribute’s of God – Principle; Mind; Soul Spirit; Life’ Truth: Love. ( Science and Health p.587) and those spiritual qualities never fade away, We have an abundance of “Haves”.

    1. The article did open fully, J and is very helpful. Thank you so much for sharing and to John,
for writing. I have seen John’s contributions here, so if he sees this, the article in the
CS Sentinal – June 10th, 2024 (paper copy), “A heart softened, a character subdued”
was also very inspiring and just wanted to acknowledge his lovely work.

    2. Thanks. J. for the link to this Monitor article by John Qualtrough! All the articles you send us are very helpful!♡

    3. How kind of you to mention the article..I’m grateful for the many ways we can share our journey with one another..

      1. Yess, John, and thank you very much for your article in the November 2023 issue of the CS Journal “God’s Supremecy and Consistency”! I found it on Facebook.
It’s such an Importentt and needed Themen!

      2. “I have always loved the concept of one infinite Mind uniting humankind”

Thank you for writing this, John Qualtrough.

one of the most beautiful views. Yes.

  9. Thank you dear Evan for letting us remember and clearly know how rich we are as child of such an overrich Father-Mother Love! ♡

  10. Thank you everyone here today the shared thoughts and articles are amazingly helpful. A family member is in a situation which at first glance seems insurmountable and it seemed to me so overwhelming. Today reading SV and corresponding comments and articles you all made me realise the mortal view is illusion my thought needs correcting, the word behave (be a have) jumped out at me. God is all for us all. including my Nephew who needs love and guidance. Thank you
