  1. Yes, we are all “Angels” for each other! Yesterday, I know I was an “angel” in someone’s life, when I “ran into” a friend I hadn’t seen for a while and was able to offer comfort and support to him re. the passing of his wife. We also found our cars were parked next to each other in the parking lot of the store we were in. “There are no accidents in God’s Kingdom”!! God is caring for All of Us, and often thru the hands of others! Much Love!

  2. As this idea is cherished, opportunities come. I have found this in my experience more and more recently. It is a joy to share ideas of Truth and Love and encourage friends and acquaintances who are seeking help and progress. We all can do this each day as we move though our daily activities. What a blessing it is see the good in each other and see how to nurture it! Have a wonderful day everyone!

  3. An interesting example of how translations can differ – with subtle but considerable implications. The Aramaic Bible in Plain English translation is “Do not refrain from doing what is excellent as long as you are able.” Both the King James Bible and JPS Tanakh declare “Withhold not good from him to whom it is due, When it is in the power of thy hand to do it.”

  4. Dear Evan, – We love every SPRITIVIEW — EVERY SINGLE ONE.

iS THERE, HOWEVER, A WAY TO ELIMINATE OR “CHANGE” THE ADVERTISEMENT

    1. Hi Dorothy,

Thank you! I appreciate that. There are no advertisements associated with SpiritView. If ads pop up that would be on your end, something to do with the way you are downloading or opening SpiritView. I’m not sure what else to tell you on how to control that. Otherwise, you ignore them!

      Thanks for your faithfulness.

  5. This brings to mind a poem that is dear to me that I first heard on one of the Sentinel Radio Broadcast cassettes:

I am the place where God shines through, for he and I are one, not two.
I need not fear, nor fret, nor plan
He needs me here right where I am.
And if I remain, calm, relaxed, and free
He’ll carry out His plan through me.

Sorry, I don’t know who to attribute it to and I have heard other versions.

    1. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful poem! “He needs me right here right where I am” is especially helpful to me right now!☺

  6. A good friend of mine from the Church I used to attend introduced me to a retired teacher who wasn’t fully blind who escaped from the Nazi war camps that exterminated the Jews who dabbled in C/S. Since she couldn’t read I would tap into JSH and by telephone listen to one of the articles from both Sentenal and C/S Journal. What a feeling of greatness to be able to help a fellow being, one I considered a hero and a Church which had the idea of putting sound to the modern publications so I could accomplish this. God bless The Mother Church.

  7. That lovely poem was written by John Randall Dunn, who was a lecturer when I was a child. He also wrote some of the CS hymns i.e. 310, 374 .

  8. Thanks Rhonda for sharing the lovely poem. Thanks Sally for remembering the name of the person who wrote this lovely poem, who has also written CS Hymns 310 and 374.
I loved the poem. Its so comforting, taking thought away from self to the service of mankind where God leads us to.
I went through Hymn No.374, in praise of God, the loving father-mother whose tender and constant care is all the time with us, who hears and answers our prayer. Its truly written so well by John Randall Dunn. Instantly brings peace and sweet assurance of God’s grace, strength, goodness and love in our life.
If we can be of help to the needy, its a privilege and a blessing. I love to help my friends and strangers too. I feel on the top of the world when the person I help feels happy and good. Thinking of others and helping them, removes thought from self and keeps me constantly happy, and never depressed.
Thanks Evan for all your lovely inspirations. Deeply grateful.

  9. Thanks Evan, and everyone. Being always on the alert to help somebody is always a blessing
to them and to ourselves. It reminds me of the hymn””Love one another, word of revelation”..

I would just like to mention that I had to check on your website to see if there was a Spirit|View
this morning and so I found it.. It didn’t come into my in-box. And I didn’t realise that there was
one before this also, and happened to find it when I checked to see if there was one today. I
thought perhaps we were not getting them because it was Easter
holiday time. Perhaps it is a problem at my end.
