  1. So rightly said by Gandhiji that forgiveness is the attribute of the strong. It requires lots of love, moral courage and humility to forgive. That is why perhaps its rightly said, “Its human to err but divine to forgive.”
The forgiver gains a lot of good by forgiving. Why? Because if you forgive, then there is no bitter feelings so no discomfort, no unhappiness, no unrest. Instead one gains an unmatched high of happiness, feels on the top of the world, is blessed by God and much good is gained. The most important thing about forgiving is, we get forgiveness in return for our misgivings from God. Isn’t that great???
Forgiveness also is the main factor in bringing healing to ailments. Why? Because forgiveness calls for love, and “Love is the Liberator, freeing us from all health problems.
Only a little more love, humility and moral courage is required to forgive and if we pray for these, God surely strengthens us and enables us to forgive.

  2. That which is simply stated is often a most powerful message. I believe that forgiveness is one of the true weapons of our warfare with error.

  3. Thank you, Evan!! I love forgiving because it makes me “use the weapons of our warfare” humility, kindness, understanding- instead of error’s weapons of hurt, self pity, revenge. And I say this coming from a place where it’s a bit of a struggle but I know it’s a battle worth fighting! My day will be more soundly based after reading your blog and the comments!! Cheers!!!!!

  4. Forgive and forget. Holding on to bad thoughts is like carrying bags of heavy stones. A waste of energy!

  5. Being strong to me is always having something better to do than take offense in the first place. No offense taken to begin with, nothing to forgive later.
