Conquer fear of loss

Here’s a profound truth to ponder…
If you don’t want to lose something that is important to you, don’t fear its loss.
Job, from the Bible, lamented, “The thing which I greatly feared has come upon me.”
It’s an opposite line of reasoning to popular belief – to not fear the loss of something near and dear – for mortal mind creates all types of scary scenarios threatening loss, holds them before public view, and strives to make unsuspecting people believe them.
It’s called “terrorism.” And it comes in mild to severe forms.
Terrorism preys upon fear. Those who fear are weak, liable to cave to the demands of evil, willing to compromise when they otherwise would not compromise, and open to being used by unscrupulous minds.
If you don’t want to be terrorized, you can’t allow yourself to become a victim to fear.
Fear is not that scary, really. It implies a power opposed to God. It implies a threat, danger or potential hurt or harm. But in divine Love, these seeming threats go away. They have no power, no influence or sway.
In divine Love, God is Life. God is never touched by any phase of evil. Life is never touched by any phase of evil. Man is never touched by any phase of evil. To understand these truths is to lose fear.
Jesus Christ knew this when nailed to the cross. He was not afraid of death because he knew he would never die. He understood himself to be wholly spiritual. And he walked out of the tomb alive three days later to prove it.
As we grow in understanding that God is our Life, and that everything of substance in our life is spiritual, coming direct from God and always coming from God, we lose fear of loss. And that is a very good mental place to be!
No fear equates with no threat. No fear, no sense of danger. No fear, no liability to be preyed upon by the devouring wolves of the carnal mind.
If you’re afraid of losing something, that’s because you think it’s material. Lose that belief—that it’s material. See that loved one, home, health or supply from a spiritual point of view, and you’ll understand why you can never lose it. And you won’t. It’s yours forever, in Spirit.
No fear, no loss.

  1. Again thanks Evan I love this! It keeps me more assured of what I’ve heard angels have whispered to me. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SAYING! Even when I am about to go back to my homeland I won’t loss anything as you said it is in Spirit. I would always be in my right place, my oneness with Love, as everyone is.

To have come across SPIRITVIEW is such a blessing to me for daily simplified inspiration. I will always look forward to have and embrace it. Much love to you and to all who share their thoughts and prayers for the world.

  2. My husband and I always ask ourselves “What if I don’t have to be afraid of anything?” and that always breaks the mesmerism.

  3. I never thought of fearing loss as “TERRORISM” until I read Evan’s blog. What a great way of praying in today’s world which seems very dangerous indeed. Why fear economic downfalls, God never made it. Why fear the collapse of democratic freedom, God never made it. Whatever is heard of ungodliness doesn’t come from God, so there is no point to fear it. Thank you Evan for this spiritual boost.

  4. Love this idea of freedom from fear, and just wanted to say that I loved Tobias’ phrase: “spiritual boost”. Indeed this was!
