Dear Friends of Spirit View & Even,
I have been challenged from CKD, It’s been two years since I have been well. On dialysis for 21 months. Cannot get clear of my need for the treatments. My practitioner says my thoughts need purifying. Does anybody know a good study to attain healing?
I truly love this forum and have been following it for years. I believe many of you are healers and well intentioned. Thank you in advance for any prayers.

With a severe challenge as you seem to have, I can’t
think of any better way than to take up
the constant delving into Science and Health – reading it
through slowly, digging deeper, and looking for fresh ideas to
spring out to you. Apply everything that speaks to you,
to yourself, and accept it as the real you. Doing this,
along with a deep daily study of the Lesson Sermon
cannot fail to uplift your thoughts into the pure realm
of Spirit, where we all belong. Look to find the deeper
meanings in all the Bible stories that you encounter. It is
amazing what comes to you when you are really
searching for the Truth. I can vouch for this. God is with you all the
way, and He has never left you. As others have said here,
you are spiritual and perfect now, as God is knowing you,
and you can let Him light up for you whatever
you need to understand of your true, pure
and spotless being in His reflection. “The Christ is here,(with you
now) all dreams of error breaking, unloosing bonds of all captivity”.

Dearest David, I do not have any idea what the problem is that you named but I do know that asking our Divine Father-Mother God to make known to you what in your thinking is causing this disruption to your well-being will set you on the path to make your demonstration. I have had a problem for two or three years now that seems to make its appearance in the spring and it is irritating. Today the thought came to me, it is a mental irritation – so what can be so irritating to me that is manifests itself ion as an itching, and painful part of my body? Nothing but aggressive mental suggestions because of some “irritating” thoughts. I seem to cherish. Wow, what a revelation. Now I know what I need to continue to work on to conquer this belief. May you find your answer as well and demonstrate your dominion over this belief of illness. God will tell you what you need to know. We have the ability to challenge aggressive mental suggestions with a resounding NO and then understand the reason why we can say NO. As spiritual ideas of God you are perfect in God. and you have the right to claim your perfection now. Many blessings to you David.
I’ve read material by Christine Drissen , she’s a former attorney that has done work in Washington on forums and many platforms regarding health care. she is phenomenal teacher. she is a long line of CS P, look her up on You Tube and Christine Drissen.com ( I believe her own website).

I have just read and listened to a few. Her listings of all of Mrs. Eddy’s accomplishments
I had not realized (in one of the hand outs mentioned). How blessed we all are to
have had and have such enlightenment that she has given to the world. It seems in many
ways, the world is leaning in this direction of healing and her key to the scriptures is as
pertinent now as it was in the time of her writings and as it was in Jesus’ time. I couldn’t find the site right away, but the spelling of her name is Christine Driessen .

Wow! Debbie, this lecture is wonderful! Philip’s wording and explanations have
such clarity and proven practical ways of his discovery, such as with the radio
waves … very enlightening, put in the way he did. Seeing ourselves as God created
us and sees us, is such a blessing when we truly understand not to let any
limitations of mortal thought interfere what is the Truth – our spiritual, perfect
reflection. Any belief that we are imperfect is just that, a belief and is not how
we really are. Matter just doesn’t matter.

Dear David, I really have no idea what ckd is and will not look it up, because
that would tend to try to make it more of a reality. I’ve put it in smaller case
letters as with mortal mind, not like with God, which is All power and presence.
You mentioned your practitioner says your “thoughts need purifying”. The
idea came to me to suggest reading Mrs. Eddy’s chapter in Misc. Writings, #203,
Pond and Purpose. Within that she writes,
“The baptism of the Holy Ghost is the spirit of Truth cleansing from all sin; giving
mortals new motives, new purposes, new affections, all pointing upward. This
mental condition settles into strength , freedom, deep-toned faith in God; and a
marked loss of faith in evil, in human wisdom, human policy, ways and means.
It develops individual capacity, increases the intellectual activities, and so quickens
moral sensibility that the great demands of spiritual sense are recognized, and they
rebuke the material senses, holding sway over human consciousness.
By purifying human thought, this state of mind permeates with increased harmony
all the minutiae of human affairs. It brings with it wonderful foresight, wisdom and
power; it unselfs the mortal purpose, gives steadiness to resolve and success to
endeavor… …” Mrs. Eddy goes on to write, “Beloved students [that would be All
of us] … you have entered the path. Press patiently on; God is good and good is
the reward of all who diligently seek God.”

Mrs. Eddy, our beloved Leader, says, ” The discoverer of Christian Science finds the path less difficult when she has the high goal always before her thoughts, than when she counts her footsteps in endeavoring to reach it.” (SH 426:5-9). The “high goal” here is that you are whole, complete, having only goodness running through you. Hold to that in your thought and you will win! Whatever else you seem to be “seeing” is just a lie about you. What would you say or think if I called you “Mario”? You would know that I had made a mistake! Those letters are simply a lie, a mistake, about you, or anyone else for that matter!

When I saw your name this morning I rejoiced. You have been such an inspiration to me and all with your helpful contributions through the years, that obviously we looked forward to them and missed them. All the responses from those today are such an inspiration of Love. We all can feel the atmosphere of Love divine surrounding us as we share with each other.
The admonition from Mary Baker Eddy: “Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need.” and the Scientific Statement of Being taken line by line and pondering the meaning has been an immediate standby for clearing my thought when I seem to be struggling with errors lies.

Dear David, YOU are not to blame and in fact nothing is the cause of this “ckd “(whatever that is..it seems none of us know what it is).. in fact we only need to know what it is NOT.
It is not a part of your spiritual identity. It is not created by God or ANYTHING ELSE. God IS the Cause and Creator..so there is no space for this outlaw to come from to attack you.
You are the immediate (not waiting in line) manifestation of The Word….the Word that is God. That Word which motivated and initiated all being, all life and YOU. The Bible says “The Word was with God and the Word was God”…and let’s remember that as the manifestation of God’s being, no OTHER WORD (or letters like ckd) can delineate your being, can describe you, can be a part of you can be your story or your history. Rather than feel you have to do something such as purify your thoughts, ask God “What do I need to learn from this?” If you are feeling you must DO something, then that is also making a reality of it and also inferring that you can be the creator or destroyer of anything.
