Currency that pays the bills

June 16, 2011 | 5 comments

Struggling to pay the bills? Worried about floundering cash flow? Wondering where the next customer is going to come from?

When faced with empty pockets, it’s tempting to think the primary need is for more money. But there is always a deeper spiritual need yearning to be met. And when it comes to paying the bills that deeper spiritual demand usually rests in the realm of understanding better how God supplies our needs.

It’s not dollar bills, liters of petrol and loaves of bread that God pours out of the sky. It’s typically ideas, inspirations, and guidance from within that lead the way to a better day.

We live in a divine economy where currency is ideas circulating in divine Mind. These ideas, when acted upon, pay the bills and generate profits. They flow freely and abundantly and are yours to understand and express.

So, set monetary fears aside, turn to God in prayer, listen for divine Mind’s inspiration, and let the heavenly currency of God’s ideas enrich your point of view. They are adequate for the job and able to meet the need.

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work.” Paul

  1. Something that I have found very inspiring and it works is the following C.S. article “Wonderful things are happening” by Dorothy Rieke: (copy and paste the below into your browser)

I have focused on it for a number of years and have put to memory and heart the sections FIRST.. SECOND… etc.

If you scroll down through the article you will find these sections.

Hope it helps you as much as it has blessed me.

  2. Hi Dennis,

Take it for granted that the ideas are forthcoming and present in your thought. If you’re not seeing them, pray to be free of self-will, self-righteousness, pride, and ego…all the human mind stuff that gets in the way of honestly hearing God’s ideas and acting on them.

God is always speaking to us. The big question is, Are we listening or willing to listen to where God is taking us?

  3. Here, here to what Evan posted! I find it may not be anything like what you thought you needed or what you might have thought you should be doing. When we get humble we hear it. And, I find it is repeated, just in case ((; Happpy trails
