Ending the pandemic

February 21, 2022 | 17 comments

It’s time for humanity to accept the end of this pandemic.

There’s a role we each can play that makes a positive difference.

Knowing the omnipotence and omnipresence of God dissolves people’s fear of germs and contagion. It brings spiritual peace of mind that keeps people healthy and safe.

When fear is gone, any suffering it generates vanishes too.

This vlog was filmed in Pirogue Island State Park, near Miles City, Montana, when my wife and I camped nearby in August 2021.

  1. Thank you Evan.

It couldn’t have been said any better, so simple, it has been right in front of us all the time, the concept of freedom from
fear which is the cause of all inharmonious false activity.

I appreciate the quote by MBE which solidifies that concept of freedom from falsity.

  2. Beautifully put Evan.

As we individually take our next step into Truth, we find that God is already there!
Collective progress to bring the light of Christ to mankind❣️

  3. The constant to and fro is ending in the community with the fears being lessened. I thank all of those who being diligent have contributed to diminishing of the emotional bondage of fear.
Thank you Evan for shining a light on the present events in our communities.

  4. Thank you, Evan, for reminding us of our God given dominion and that nothing can interfere with the harmony of God’s government, which includes all of us. Progress is being made. Boston, which is one of the most medicalized cities in the country, had one of the most stringent mandates. On Friday, the mayor announced that she was ending the vaccine mandate, effectively immediately. This means that restaurants, gyms and other public buildings are no longer required to verify that people coming in have been vaccinated.

    1. Thanks for sharing that Bob, that is progress, I’ve been reading about England now preparing for a nationwide removal of all their restrictions. Can you feel the tide turning, the fear lifting?

And thank you Evan for your perfect, hopeful and comforting message today. God is All.

  5. A CS friend from another state called me
this weekend saying she had Covid.

I called her back saying, I always thought
this statement by Mrs. Eddy referred to a
    physical problem.

    Science and Health p. 463 12-13
“A spiritual idea has not a single element of
error, and this truth removes property what ever is
    offensive.”

When it came to thought the word, offensive,
    stood out.
    Offensive; military offensive, disagreeable,
    aggressive, displeasure.

I read/heard, ” A spiritual idea has not a single element of error.” Period. End.

The offense is always in thought. Be it body,
    world events, fear …

I sent this idea to a daughter who’s dog has
a seeming problem. The seeming problem is
not with the dog, but with our being
    offended by a false belief.

    1. M, good spiritual reasoning and digging into the word offensive. It also means (according to my Merriam Webster dictionary): something obnoxious, something insulting. And an offense means a sin, a misdeed, an infraction of law. All are erroneous.

Also loved and will continue to ponder, “The seeming problem is not with the dog but with our being offended by a false belief.” So wise and applies to all that would appear discordant or lacking harmony.

      1. Great find ROSE from New York….using the quote to heal a life long belief of “colds” came about with the final blow, using the quote from Mary Baker Eddy, in Science and Health, p 14, line 12-16, “Become conscious for a single moment that Life and intelligence are purely spiritual,___neither in nor of matter,___ and the body will then utter no complaints. If suffering from a belief in sickness, you will find yourself suddenly well”. Splendid quote to knock down error, of any kind.

  6. What a wonderful statement of God’s power, presence and Truth of the situation
the world seems to be facing. I am reminded of Mrs. Eddy’s (S&H pg.96: 12):
“This material world is even now becoming the arena for conflicting forces. On
one side there will be discord and dismay; on the other side there will be Science
and peace. The breaking up of material beliefs may seem to be famine and
pestilence, want and woe, sin, sickness, and death, which assume new phases
until their nothingness appears. These disturbances will continue until the end of
error, when all discord will be swallowed up in spiritual Truth.”
I am amazed in so many ways this Truth is blossoming forth, some in ways least
expected, but the True power of God shines through. There is no greater power.

  7. Evan~
Thank you for your steady, steadfast, joy filled commitment to the TRUTH.

So grateful to count on your understanding you share~
    Truly❣️

And the backdrop of the glorious nature you and Kathy experience is an added uplifting bonus.

  8. In the statement from S&H 463:12-13 mentioned above, the word I often work with is “element.” “A spiritual idea has not a single element of error….” In thinking about something like covid, these are just a few of the elements that we can realize are not present: age, vulnerability, blame, guilt, time, exposure to something not created by God, material substance, lurking danger, some spot where God is not…. I’m sure you can think of more. God fills all space, and He fills it with Life, Truth, and Love, as well as purity and light. There is no darkness or taint. I love that we are “gentle beams of living Love and deathless Life.”

  9. I feel like this was healed years ago. The regulators refuse to let go and I don’t know how to convince them to let go of the fear mongering to justify the mandates. I guess we have to see that they too cannot be mesmerized. Evan I love your metaphysics. They are always on point!

  10. Thank you Evan for your uplifting message. Error cannot withstand Truth and Therefore is eradicated, giving God due to His name.

  11. This weekend a CS friend in another state
said she had Covid. I called her back and
said I always thought this statement by
Mrs. Eddy referred to a physical problem.

    P. 463 11-13 “A spiritual idea has not a single
element of error, and this truth removes
    properly whatever is offensive.

When this statement came to thought, the
word offensive stood out. Looking up the
    definition, military attack, disagreeable to
    the senses,, causing anger, displeasure.,
    assault.

    I read/heard, “A spiritual idea has not a single
    element of error.”.” Period. End.”

The offense is thinking outside of God.
I sent this idea to a daughter because of a seeming
problem with her dog. The offense is not the dog,
It is our thinking we see something.

The offense is always in thought. Not body, world clamor, any false reporting.
