Every day a new day

September 29, 2025 | 25 comments

Do you wake up every morning eager to see what new and glorious experiences you are going to have as a child of God living in God’s universe of infinite awe and wonder?  You can.

Mary Baker Eddy writes about God’s creation, “Creation is ever appearing, and must ever continue to appear from the nature of its inexhaustible source” (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 507).  For God’s creation to be “ever appearing,” means that there is something new, fresh and glorious appearing constantly.  There is no end to the innovation, inspiration, and creative possibilities coming our way from the infinite Mind of God.

Every day with God is a new day.  No stagnation, no waiting, no delay, no backwardness, no want.  Just on-going, continuous, constant unfoldment of infinite good.  All ours to enjoy and experience to the fullest.

Wow!  What are you waiting for?

  1. This is so invigorating…love, love love it!
Mortal thought can accept things which are not quite how you’d want them, but try to tell you that there is an acceptable level of hurt, intolerance or pain etc …..but this must be met with as much spiritual vigour as the most difficult situations.
Each day any thought or material evidence must initially be met with Gods plan, His/Her guidance and subsequent protection.
What an inspiring way to start the week…..thank you Evan so very much for giving us all a little shake up to reality!
Love the picture too ❣️ not just opening the curtains but opening up to Gods abundance ❣️

  2. Thank you, Evan – ‘I love, love, love it’ also Barbara,
and the picture.- it immediately uplifted my heart
and awakened a wonderful feeling of joy. It brought to mind the first verse of the following hymn.

    Hymn 500
I awake each morn to a brand-new day, / Singing Hallelujah! as I go on my way, / For my heart is fixed on this one guarantee: / The Love that is All holds me tenderly.

  3. The subject, as well as the comment above, bring to mind two acronyms I formulated for myself and have been working with recently (for HARMONY and YIELD):

    H e’s
    A lways
    R eady
    M orning
    O r
    N ight;
    Y ield.

    which in turn leads to

    Y our
    I deas,
    E very one of them,
    L ove
    D irected

I have fun with acronyms and share these here with the hope they might help others!

    1. Love these too!

Two of my fav acronyms I think of (especially when driving and seeing lots of crazy stuff on the road) is to quietly remind myself that everyone is a COG (Child of God) in the KOH (Kingdom of Heaven). It has a calming effect to realize that’s where we all “live and move and have our being”. 🙂

  4. Thank you, Evan and everyone who already responded with your fresh ideas. Your messages are the first gifts of a day full of promise.

  5. This is a terrific way to start off the day and week! Thank you dear Evan
and Spirit viewers for such lovely inspiration. Every day is a new day –
a clean slate, to start anew. Some thoughts I’ve come across :

“This world is but a canvas to our imagination” – Henry David Thoreau

“Even the darkest night will end and the sun will rise” – Les Miserables

“The moon is always full, whether we see it or not” – Author Unknown
(and the sun is always shining!)

“Don’t judge each day by the harvest you reap, but by the seeds you plant”
    -Robert Louis Stevenson

“Never fear shadows. They simply mean there’s a light shining somewhere
    nearby” – Ruth E. Renkel

“People … [we] … are just as wonderful as sunsets if you let them be. When I look
at a sunset, I don’t find myself saying, ‘Soften the orange a bit on the right hand
corner. I don’t try to control a sunset. I watch with awe as it unfolds” – Carl Rogers

“There are only two days in a year that nothing can be done. One is called
yesterday, the other is called tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, believe,
do, and mostly – live” – Dali Lama

    1. Thank you, Carol. I love:
“Never fear shadows. They simply mean there’s a light shining somewhere nearby” – Ruth E. Renkel
      That is very inspiring.

    2. Thank you, Patty and Maggie. There are many more I could
share that I have written down over the years. Regarding
      this topic, a few more,

“Any one can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can
count the apples in a seed” – Robert H. Schuller
(That is – This is the day the Lord has made!”)

“You may think your light is small, but it can make a huge
difference in other people’s lives.” – Author Unknown

“There is only one God. Why do you keep applying for His
job” (from a bumper sticker shared in an article on here before)

  6. LOVE THIS ! Thankyou , Evan and all . what a Wonderful way to start your Day, It’s a SPIRIT VIEW! opening up the curtains

  7. I too love the idea of opening the curtains. We open up our consciousness to let in freshness and Truth. Anything old and stale (like error’s seemingly constant, useless chatter) is blown away by God’s breeze or breath of purity. Also love that there is a view of nature outside her window, very healing.

Evan thanks for reminding me that with God there is no, “stagnation, delay, waiting, backwardness or want” Well, these are exactly what I’ve been feeling for several days about a work situation that seems small but mortal mind is blowing it out of proportion, trying ferociously to pull me down into confusion, feeling lack of support or help, making me feel unsafe, afraid. I’ve been praying and I make some progress, then mortal mind starts shouting again and back I go, digging around in the mortal story, trying to reason materially and be a doer. That is not the way out. God is the way out.

Any help or thoughts from SpititViewers is much appreciated. Love to all.

    1. Rose, a week or so ago, I was feeling a bit dreary and overly burdened by things I needed to tend to. It came to me that I definitely needed more light in my life, but how? “How God do I get more light in my life?” I asked. The answer quickly came:

      L et
      I n
      G race
      H armony
      T ruth

I worked with that throughout the day any time I felt “low” and it instantly caused me to refocus, thereby both bright-ening my attitude and light-ening my load! And regarding that “useless chatter” (which seems to present itself way too often)…

      CH ill (as in freeze)
      A ll (or A ny)
      T umultuous
      T ransitory
      E rroneous
      R hetoric

      Have a great day!

      1. Thank you CA Wolfe for sharing your thoughts, encouragement and acronyms for LIGHT and CHATTER. Very wise.

I’m happy to report that I began taking a firm stand against error and declaring strongly the power and unchanging laws of God, good. I felt love and good thoughts, likely coming from this dear community. Resistance to the situation started to lift and I found it easy to mentally surround those co-workers involved in a golden light of compassion and saw they could not harm me, as they too are God’s dear children. So my peace, which seemed to, have left me, returned. Later in the afternoon I received a brief text message from a manager that resolved the immediate concern.

Thank you Evan for a place to share and work things out spiritually, and for everyone here.

  8. I love to wake up to this exchange of wisdom that I find at spiritview. . Thank you all and especially to Evan for setting the pace. Great testimony. it shows no anxiety needed if we give Science and Health to someone and wonder when they are going to read it.. It’s there for them when they are ready. It’s not much fun feeling like a hamster going round and round in circles, feeling as if we are doing the same thing over and over.
I also love Mrs. Eddy My 158:9 :we live in an age of Love’s divine adventure yo be all in all:. and S&H 323:9 :Beholding the infinite tasks of Truth…:

  9. When I WAKE UP each morning, I lean into …

    Worshipping spiritually
    Absolute consecration
    Kindness expressed
    Enlarged individuality

    Unchanging wisdom
    Patient obedience
